We all know how difficult it is to cold call. 'No you can't make me do it!' My pocketbook " Kerry, you have GOT to do it your upline is busy and you don't have a secretary " Many great books have been written about self help and making better decisions. Many authors agree that if we don't decide our fate someone else will. Ever had your hours cut at a regular job because you and your boss butted heads? Ever been told " Go home early today we are trying to cut back on labor costs. I have experienced both of those in the cooking industry. Even so I still have my struggles getting myself to TAKE ACTION and dial the number .The worst thing they can say to you is No, they can't send you home early, they can't cut your hours.
Another thing they may help is make yourself a 'goals & rewards sheet', it can be something simple like , I make 75 calls and I will go to a nice restaurant as my pay for a job well done. It could be 'I make 500 dials and I will buy a new tv monitor". These are simple things, I'm just a country boy, but it can help you take action when you don't feel like it.
Ever had one of those conversations with yourself. How many times can you clean the office before you make the calls.
When I do manage to make the calls , I try to use a survey type of approach, "Are you still involved in a home based business or are you interested in restarting a home based business" If their answer is "No", I politely hang up and go to the next number , this avoids conflict with a possible 'do not call; and you stayed compliant by not asking for money, information or even nameing your company, it was simply a survey.
