Tarhe Business Ventures is a new business enterprise located at 22 mechanic village of Makurdi in Benue that is designed for community health services, general merchandise and general contracts. It is also engaged in agribusinesses such as poultry, piggery and fish farming etc. It is run by a competent management team headed by a CEO who is a well trained and knowledgeable in healthcare issues, marketing, management and administration.It is a start-up organization that is yet to fully take off but other aspects are working. We are offering consultancy in health promotion, health prevention,disputes and conflicts resolution, collective bargaining. We are into a connected economy and so we can connect our clients and prospects to various experts on health care issues and help them cope with life. We are also involved in couching , writing and supervision of research papers in nursing and management and we provide mentorship especially in nursing and trade union matters. The business was conceived two years after my retirement from public service in 2015 to address the numerous health challenges being faced by people in my community especially among the elderly, widows, pregnant women , children and the growing number of  unemployed young people in my community. Also the desire to provide what was missing in the community fired my imagination and I have to  engage in poultry farming and animal husbandry. As a healthcare provider who has been deeply involved in taking care of my parents right from when I was in service I had learnt how to care for people in old age. The business ventures is passionate about providing gerontological care to the elderly including my parents who are alive  today by the special grace of God...Apart from offering healthcare services at our facility we  visit people in their homes to provide care and  support . The venture is a sole-proprietorship and the challenge being faced is in raising adequate capital to execute some of the outstanding works and procure enough equipment to fast-track development. What is on the ground is due to singular efforts by chief executive officer. We are sourcing for funds through networking and through many other sources but the results are yet to come.
