Do you know what ancient Huna wisdom is?

I got this from page 93 of T. Harv Eker's book, "Secrets of the Millionaire MInd".  As I mentioned I am going through it again for the second time.  It is a very valuable book.

Mr. Eker makes the point in the book that many people resent rich people.  They just do.  It seems to be human nature.  It seems to come from a resentment for the fact that the rich person had the courage to act and become wealthy.  

When some people look at them, it makes them take a hard look at themselves and realize that they lacked the courage to do what the wealthy did.  That can be changed on any given day with a different decision, of course.

The "ancient Huna wisdom" is the Hawaiian teaching that we should "bless that which you want".  You can find this on page 93 of the book.

It makes sense.  Why not have an attitude of blessing toward that person who has achieved what we want?  Why not talk to them and ask what they did to achieve it?  I think we will find that those people are very approachable, busy maybe, but approachable.

They would have to be busy.  They didn't become wealthy sitting around in any form of self pity.  They probably had to go through a fair amount of trial and error, which would make me respect them even more.

The point being, that instead of any resentment for them, why not bless them or applaud them in your mind.  Why not send them a letter or a card congratulating them on their success.  

We would probably find out that their success wasn't handed to them and they grew quite a bit in the process of achieving their success.  In all honesty, that growth is more important than the success itself.

As I continue to read, there will be more excerpts and lessons from this book.  I will give you the page number where you can find the valuable information I find.  The whole book is valuable.
