The Lord Acts In Mysterious Ways

 About 20 years ago I was struck with a disabling disease, literally knocked me off my feet and out of the workforce.  I went through many different Allopathic medical treatments including disease-specific clinical trials with no success in eliminating any of my disabling symptoms.  In fact, treatments and medications actually were causing more disabling symptoms and  I was having some severe reactions to the different medications and they just kept prescribing more. One very traumatic day I said to myself "enough is enough, this is no way to live" and threw away all 27 different medications that I was taking at that time.  I was soon to discover that you don't just stop taking some of the medications and was hospitalized in serious condition for several days. 

During my hospital stay, I decided I wasn't going to continue on any of the medications or treatments because I wasn't experiencing any improvements.  I knew I was going to have to learn to live with the disabling symptoms or just give up.  Obviously, I didn't give up or I wouldn't be sharing my life with you today.  One of the many challenges I was facing was the lack of money.  I was my sole provider and I didn't want my grown children to have to contribute to my support.  I had been supporting myself for many years and I wanted to be able to continue to do that.  

I had worked in sales most of my adult life and had no computer skills.  For some unexplainable reason, I had decided a month before I became disabled to buy a used computer and teach myself how to use it.  After leaving the hospital I spent hours exploring the world wide web...WOW.  I decided I was going to work from home on the computer.  I joined many different programs, many were probably a scam and had made no money.  I was trying to live off of Social Security Disability and I didn't have the money to throw away on the next greatest thing.  This idea wasn't working out too good.  

One morning I was sitting at my computer, drinking my coffee, and deleting emails.  I had signed up for some many things that I was getting about 1000 emails a day.  I was just reading the subject lines and deleting.  That morning one subject line caught my attention.  It read "Get Paid To Drink Coffee"  I was an ardent coffee drinker so I decided I could do that.  I opened the email, clicked on the link, and was taken to a business that was selling functional coffee.  I got so excited I signed up immediately to sell their coffee. After I had entered my credit card number and hit the send button I panicked.  Talk about buyers remorse, so many negative thoughts were rushing through my mind.  

Later that afternoon I received a call from the distributor that I had signed up with, welcoming me to the company.  It was then that I found out it was a network marketing company.  I was concerned about that because I had heard for years that you never want to get involved with network marketing...cause it's a scam, no one makes any money and the negative list goes on and on.  As I said before I had worked commission sales all my life but had never joined a network marketing company.  

Fast forward here, I stayed with the company, sold the coffee, and learned how to recruit others to do the same.  I was making an additional income to subsidies my disability income and life was good.  My health conditions had not improved but I had learned how to live with them and enjoy my children and their children and live my life.  

One morning I was going through my emails and opened one from the company announcing we had merged with a company called Youngevity  https://ednayates.youngevity.com  I went to my new website and discovered it was a vitamin company.  Yikes was my first thought, the second one was, this must be a joke. I was pleased to find that I could still market the coffee. Little did I know at that time that this was going to change my life again.

To make a long story shorter, I'll fast forward here.  The products gave me my quality of life back.  After being on some of the products for 8 months I was able to walk again without any walking aids and all of the negative symptoms I had been dealing with for years had disappeared.
