Secrets of the Millionaire Mind by T. Harv Eker

I am reading this book for the second time, and as usually happens, learning things I didn't really grasp the first time through.  I have a small library of books like this and I need to reread some of them.

Our mindset about money controls everything we do pertaining to money.  I can see where I still need to work on my own mindset.  We are typically our own worst enemies when it comes to money.

The millionaire mind is very different to what we might think.  Too many times we confuse pursuing money as a selfish, snobbish thing.  The opposite is actually true.  It's actually selfish not to pursue money.

It takes money to live and it takes money to build nice things for others as well as ourselves.  It is actually our duty to propel ourselves into a situation where we make a great deal of money, in order to be able to serve others with it.

We can't help others with what we don't have.  If our own financial situation is hanging on by a thread, then we can't help the single mother with medical bills or build anything for the less fortunate.  We can't pay off our family's debts or help them out of a financial crisis.

We also owe it to our friends and family to show them how we propelled ourselves into a better financial situation.  We can help them out of an immediate financial crisis, and then sit them down and show them how to develop the skills to earn more money for the future.

On page 89 of "Secrets of the Millionaire Mind" a segment is taken from another book called "Acres of Diamonds".  In that segment it talks about our spiritual duty to become all we can become financially.

Most people don't see it that way.  I wasn't raised to see it that way.  Most people want to stay down to earth and they are afraid they won't be anymore if they start making alot of money.  That's just a mental hangup.

The truth is that you will be who you are always and if you are a good person who cares about people, then you can help those people more the more money you have.  If you hear about a family that is in trouble,  you can help them out of immediate trouble.  Then show them how to improve their situation for themselves.

So many of the principles in T. Harv Eker's book should be taught in our schools at an earlier age.  Since it isn't going to be, we need to be teaching these principals at home.  I am trying to do this with my son now, at age 16.

I think that if we really knew a big majority of the wealthiest people around, many of them give of themselves and their money in ways we never know about.  They don't want the recognition.  They like the feeling of helping others.

So, read "Secrets of the Millionaire Mind" by T. Harv Eker when you get a chance.  I think it will help you as much as it has helped me.

Now, i am going to be building my list through a combination of texting and email.  You might want to try the same thing.

If you would like to see the texting software up front, send a text and say "hello" to 805-665-5455.  Reach out to me with questions.  I will help you all I can.

Also, I know most people on this site have a business they are already trying to build.  I think that texting software can help with that.

If you want to try American made household essentials that are healthier for you and your family, click here.

I look for simple things to be involved in that also have value and a good compensation plan.  The company at the link above does that.

Enjoy your day and stay safe people.
