My Life As A Painter And A Network Marketer
I am a professional painter and a full time network marketer. Working from home has allowed me live my dream. It's the best thing that has ever happened to my life financially. For years I kept looking and looking for the answer to achieving financial freedom. 12 years ago, I got sick of the daily grind, struggling to pay my bills, working harder in factories for what seemed like less, I felt like I was running against the escalator, I tried all I thought was my best, organized personal and group Art exhibitions in major towns and cities of Italy. My paintings made news headlines, attracted news men and several art critics but all for no avail. I was trapped in a 6am to 6pm job for 7 years, praying and hoping for things to change but really nothing changed.
On one faithful day I came in contact with a remarkable gentleman. That meeting changed my life forever. He told me, “You have no limits except those you hold onto in your mind and when you let go of these limits you can have, do or be whatever you desire.” He handed me a book titled "UNDERSTANDING YOUR POTENTIAL" At that time it sounded great but I thought, “How could this be true?” So I decided to prove it out for myself.
I sat down one day at my J.O.B then in 2004 and examined my thinking, my life and my future. I made a list of everything in life that I wanted. The list of wants was long and I noticed the things I wanted were everything I didn’t have. How could I correct my thinking? I was holding in mind all these limitations. At the top of my list of wants was being successful in life, oh yes I wanted financial freedom. Yet, I was working six days a week, 12-hour days and barely feeding taking care of myself and siblings. I was busy working instead of living life.
I then made a list of all the reasons why I wasn’t achieving the success that I felt I deserved. The list was long. I felt guilty, angry, confused, fearful, apathetic, and I felt a lot of insecurity. It was like somebody hit me over the head with a short-put ball. For the first time in my life I realized that it was my own negative emotions that were actually stopping me from achieving the success that I wanted.
So, I decided to see if I could rid myself off these limited thoughts and feelings that were keeping me from attaining success in life. To my greatest surprise, I discovered that I had a natural ability to release my full potential and these limiting thoughts and feelings. Ability that was lying dormant for so many years was a great network marketer. Then one day I broke the circle I was in for years. For the first time I was able to rid myself of guilt, fear, beating myself up, confusion, apathy, poor self-esteem, my lack of self-confidence, insecurity and more. Thanks to God I am free at last. I’m grateful for the freedom I now enjoy with my family
