What IF Facebook gave commissions!

You’ll want to read this if you are a network marketer or social media influencer. Can you imagine if Facebook decided to give 10% commissions on everyone that you invited to Facebook? You would get a piece of revenue for every click, ad view, ad purchase, etc. How much do you think you would make per month??? $5, $100, $700, $1100, $25000. Well, Facebook makes roughly 5 billion a month...yes with a "B"! I’ll let that sink in…

Social sites like Facebook track average revenue per user (ARPU). In Q4 2018 the ARPU was $6.09 worldwide. As of Q1 2019, Facebook has 2.375 billion users. Using the 2018 ARPU, Facebook’s 2019 Q1 monthly revenue is $4.8 billion. If Facebook paid 10% commission that would be $482 million per month paid out to us. In the US, the ARPU is $27.61.

I started using Facebook in March of 2009. I would say that I invited about 300 new Facebook users. In our imaginary Facebook commissions, today I would be getting $276 per month. That’s not too shabby for just inviting people.

Here is the math break down:

U.S. 2018 ARPU QTR 4 = $27.61 / 3 months = $9.20 per month

Commissions = $9.20 * 10% = $0.92 per user

300 users * $0.92 = $276 commission per month

OKAY, now imagine if Facebook gave commissions for 5 levels deep. If 300 of my friends each invited 2 people, I would have a total of 9,300 users to get commissions on. That would equal to $8,556 commission per month…just for inviting.

Of course, this is just a what-if scenario…OR IS IT?
