How to Launch Your New MLM Reps the Right Way

Today, I want to share some simple and practical tips for launching your new MLM Distributors correctly.

Please realize upfront that this is a coaching and teaching business. It’s not your job to build anyone’s business for them, but it would be in your best interest to HELP your new people get started right.

Your new distributor is like a newborn baby. They require constant help, support, love and attention. If you do not provide those things, they will quit the business.

With that being said, here are a few things you can do to launch your new MLM Distributors the right way.

# 1: Find Out Their Why

Sit down with each new person you sponsor and find out what their WHY is. Help them identify a why that makes them cry. Without a strong why, people will not last through the tough times in the business. Ask them how much money they would like to make and more importantly, what would they do with that money?

# 2: Help Them Make Their Names' List

The next thing you want to do is sit down with your new team member, if possible, and help them make their names' list. You can start with their 20 closest friends and family, but the ultimate goal is to have a list of 100 names. Use a memory jogger with them. After they come up with their list, you want to help them "grade" and "prioritize" their list.

# 3: Plug Them Into Your System

The next thing you want to do is introduce them to your team's system. Invite them to the next opportunity overview or training call. Show them your team training website. Explain how people in your team build the business. That way they know what resources they have at their disposal.

# 4: Launch Their Business

The next step is to help them launch their business properly. Ideally, you want to help them have their first home meeting, conference call or webinar within 48-hours of joining. Teach them how to invite the people, but you do the presentation with them (or use a third party tool). That way they can learn by watching you and feel more comfortable knowing they have someone there to help them.

The reason you want to help them do this is because they can EARN THEIR FIRST CHECK quickly. If you can help someone make money right out the gate, it skyrockets their belief in the business (and in you).

# 5: Avoid Information Overload

Whatever you do, do not give your new team member information overload. They don't need to know every detail about the products, company or compensation plan to get started. The more information you give them, the more confused they will be and the less they will do with the business.  Just teach them the fundamentals and realize they will learn the rest over a period of time.

Final Thoughts

There you have it folks. These are some of  my best tips on how to help your new team member get started right. What are your thoughts? Do you agree or disagree? Leave a comment to let me know what you think. I look forward to hearing from you.
