My Deep Rooted Reason for Joining Scentsy

Hey guys,

My name is Krista Wright & I'm a new Independent Scentsy Consultant! I just started this incredible journey only 3 weeks ago & I already have over $1100 in sales! It's CRAZINESS but I'm loving every minute of it! 

To be honest, I have never really thought of myself as a leader cuz I never was lead in anything growing up! But now that I have the experience & knowledge, I want to help you be successful by supporting you, being your greatest cheerleader, but most importantly being your friend! I think building relationships with others is the foundation of any successful business! Especially when your business is based online, a lot of people don't know who you are! You have to be approachable, likeable & rememberble so that your potential customers/teammates know that you're a real person who's genulely trying to make a living/support their family! There are SOO many scams out there & people who are just in business for the money aspect! I mean, money helps but it's sooo important to have a deep rooted reason that motivates you everyday to reach your goals! These are why I always strive to make my customers & teammates feel like they are important & not just a number! Every single person who likes, shares, comments on my posts, places an order, or joins my team are helping me support my family, which honestly means the world to me!

In Feb of 2019, I found out I got pregnant from a 1 night stand! I didn't know what the heck I was going to do because I wasn't financially stable at the time! I was also living in a very unhealthy environment, black mold was growing in our townhouse which would not have been healthy for the baby! I was a few weeks from finishing college & I didn't have money coming in cuz I lived with my parents! I was honestly thinking of having an abortion, but THANK THE LORD my mom talked me out of it! She was like "Krista, you can't kill my grandbaby!" I was like omg I would never forgive myself! Soo, I decided to go along with my pregnancy! The dad was around during that time, but he was very flaky cuz I think he was scared just like I was! I pretty much had to go through my pregnancy alone with the support of my family! Until I met my boyfriend in May of 2019 (I was 20 weeks pregnant at the time) he was AMAZING! He supported me, he gave me back/foot rubs, he talked to my belly, he fell IN LOVE with not only me but my unborn daughter! 

My boyfriend was honestly my #1 motivator to get my shit together before this baby was born! I got a position as a PSW at a local retirement home, but they hired me without the proper qualifications! I didn't want to be liable if anything happened to their residents so I had to quit! it was only a few months until my daughter was born & I couldn't go on Mat Leave since I didn't have enough working hours to qualify for it.. so I had no choice but to apply for social assistance!  I applied for an apartment in early June, & my mom & I moved into a healthy new apartment just down the street! We had to move by hand in the heat of the Summer! It was very difficult being 30+ weeks preggo but we managed! I babysat during the Summer & saved up the money I earn to afford to buy my daughter almost everything she needed second hand! I unpacked & decorated most of the apartment myself, & got her nursery ready for arrival! 

My daughter is currently 9 months old & my main source of income is still social assistance! The reason for joining Scentsy is cuz I don't want my family to struggle financially like my family did growing up! My mom was a single parent with 2 kids on the system! The only reason we had most of what we needed was cuz my grandparents helped us out a lot with food, clothing & supplies! I want to make memories with my daughter through experiences & not material things! I want to take her travelling, which I was never able to do! I want her to thank me one day for working by butt off to provide for her without any help! She deserves the best life & I will strive everyday to be better than I was yesterday for her!
