Good Bye 2015 - Hello 2016!


Every New Year approaches and every time we make a list of resolutions. And almost every year, by April (at the latest!), we have forgotten and lost sight of those things we 'resolved' that we would change! Instead of making 'resolutions' this year, how about we establish 'strategies' to reach certain 'goals' instead? Set a goal for December 31, 2016. Write it down. Now break it down and set goals for March 30th, June 30th, September 30th and December 31st. Write those down. Now break each of those 90 days down again. What are your goals for each month in each quarter? Remember DO NOT set a goal of 'recruiting' people into the business! Instead, set a goal of TALKING to people about your products or (maybe) getting customers to buy your product, either from you or on autoship. Think about what YOU can control. You can't control how many people will become distributors or even how many will buy product from you. But you CAN control how many people you talk to, give catalogs to, send postcards to, hand business cards to, or share your product with. THAT should be your goal! Now, what is your strategy going to be to reach your goal? If your goal is to share product, and you figure you can share your product with 5 people, how much product will you need each month? If your goal is to hand out catalogs, how many? Will you go to a printer to have it done or will you do it yourself on your home printer? If your goal is to talk with people about your product, what are you going to say? (Remember, less is more! Let a flyer or the catalog or a website do the talking and explaining!) Are you going to use email or social media or a blog? Are you planning on using traffic exchanges or safelists? Are you going to send people to just the corporate page or are you going to use the Extra Niche pages? Are you going to join any coops that the Team runs for you? NOW is the time to know What you are going to accomplish and How you are going to accomplish it! In other words, DO NOT let each day of 2016 'just happen'!
