Tik Tok For Business Leads

Tik Tok the former music sharing platform has taken businesses to a whole new level.  Imagine setting up your tik tok account today and making personal sales over as much as 100k (in months not years).   Tik Tok is at a place where Facebook and Instagram was when they first started.

There lies the potential for you to build your following and explode your sales with each 15 second video you make.

Your Tik Tok Profile

So your profile will be how people see you and how they can see what it is you offer.  You must have a profile picture of your face (close up).  Change your username from the standard created by tik tok.  I suggest you use your name or your brand name.   Make sure that your account is a business or creator account if you have less than 1k followers (that will allow you to put a link in your profile.

Tell the viewer who you are and how you can help them.  Be concise because you are limited in number of characters you can use.  Do not use your companies replicated website.  Use an bridge page (have a short 2 minute video of yourself and how you can help them and the link you want them to go to).  

Have a minimum of 12 videos on your profile.  Even if you are just getting started, crank out 12 videos (this will fill up your profile when someone is checking you out.

What to post on tik tok

The following is exactly what type of content you must post on tik tok.

• Stitches
• Funny
• Your take on a Trending Video
• Trending music
• Your own created video

Every day you want to post 6 tik toks.  Use music from the trending music section.  Every video needs a CTA (but no more than two should direct people to go to the link on your profile.  The others should be asking them to follow, like, comment or share your video.

Always create a cover slide for each tik tok,  use a strong hook in the first 3 seconds and include a CTA at the end of every video.  Limit the length to less than 20 seconds.  Humans attention span is less than that of a gold fish (Sad but True).

How to grow your following on tik tok

If you have less than 10k followers do the following.  Set up your account as I mentioned above.  Until you reach 10k do not worry about creating content.  Instead participate in "grow parties".  This will be the fastest way for you to reach 10,000 followers.  Once you hit 10k then concentrate on your content creation (as I described above).

Once you hit 10k you will be viewed by tik tok in a whole new way (more authority).  Your videos will be more likely to be seen on the FYP (for you page).  This will allow more people who are not following you to see your content and hence your reach can grow.

When to post on tik tok

The following are just some suggested time periods to post your video (all times should be in your local time period.  Post between the following times for best results:  9-11 AM, 1-3 PM and after 7 PM.

Of course these are just suggestions (test out and see what works better for you).  Remember you may not see immediate views after posting because it can take a little time for it to percolate.

Do not try to recreate the wheel.  Follow what is working (that goes for any business marketing method).  Follow the leaders and DO EXACTLY WHAT THEY ARE DOING (remember your results may vary from theirs but keep pushing forward and charting your path.
