I know what it is like to be struggling through the day, in pain, worn down, and completely fatigued. Scared that you will never get well and feeling paralyzed about which steps to take next to heal from your complex condition.

I spent years earning my doctorate in pharmacy, focusing on the physical body and how we can change our chemistry through pharmaceuticals to manage symptoms.

Even though I was trained in Western medicine, I had always been pretty open to holistic approaches and started to become more and more passionate about natural medicine and how our body has an incredible innate ability to heal itself. I realized that our food system has a lot of limitations and we are exposed to so many untested chemicals and toxins throughout our daily lives that have a big impact on our health.

I had my own health challenges like a rare pregnancy related cancer following a miscarriage and a hospitalization due to meningitis.

In my own health, I was very reluctant to put pharmaceuticals in my body and liked to try natural approaches and think of a more comprehensive holistic bigger picture focusing on nutrition and other factors that I could control.

In fact, I felt like an outsider and a fraud in my profession because I came to realize that pharmaceuticals weren’t always the best answer or the only answer for health challenges. I was dishing out pharmaceuticals, knowing they weren’t getting to the root of the problem, and felt like I was living an inauthentic life. I went into healthcare to make a difference in people's lives yet my profession left me feeling unfulfilled. 

When I got the diagnosis of chronic Lyme disease at the age of 29, most likely due to a tick bite I had had when I was nine years old, I knew that pharmaceutical antibiotics would not be the answer for me and that there were other ways to heal. I was determined to heal and to forge my own path forward doing so in a way that resonated with me.

I was not going to give my power away to healthcare practitioners to “fix” me and blindly trust a doctor’s advice while ignoring my own intuition and factors I could control.

I realized that nobody was going to be able to change my health around - other than me.

I stopped making excuses as to why I couldn’t live the life I was dreaming of and made it happen. I moved across the country, shifted my career so that it was more in alignment with my purpose and passions, and started on my path to personal transformation by doing deep inner work and concentrating on my healing over a four year period.

I overcame my health challenges and recovered from multiple infections that had overrun my body. Now I have a business I absolutely love that leaves me excited and deeply fulfilled on a spiritual level. I am free to be my authentic self in all areas of my life and get to talk about the things I am most passionate about.

I have the freedom and energy to take yoga classes whenever I feel like it, go on an all day hike, or stroll along the beach barefoot. I’m dedicated to continuing my journey of personal growth. I am passionate about helping others overcome chronic complex diseases because I know what the struggle feels like. I know how utterly draining it is to be completely fatigued and depressed and not sure where to turn next.

Most importantly, I know that it doesn’t have to be this way, that true healing is possible.

My clients have seen improvement in their energy levels, sleep quality, and inner shifts in their beliefs and mindset. They are noticing improvements in their symptoms and feel a shift in their healing.
