THINK IT SO
One of the great industrial titans of our time once said, “If you think you can do a thing or think you can’t do a thing, you’re right.” What does that have to do with network marketing? When it comes to building your network marketing business, most people think in terms of easy or difficult. Either way, it is.
Achieving success is neither easy nor difficult. In my opinion it’s simple. We become what we think about and we get what we expect. If you enjoy what you are doing, it doesn’t matter. You’ll get it done. The key is focus. All you have to do is focus your thoughts on what you want and then raise your expectations.
How high you climb the ladder of success is going to depend on what you expect from yourself and life. It’s about self-image. The greater your self-image, the more you’ll expect from yourself. The result is more success for you to enjoy.
Is it as simple as seeing yourself as a winner, you’ll win? I believe it does. Perception creates reality. When you believe that you can become more, life offers you more. It’s the ‘You Can If You Think You Can” way of thinking.
This reminds me of a book I read that examines this a bit further. Imagine an ant directing every move an elephant makes. The elephant is by far the powerful force between the two. But the ant is able to overcome the obvious disadvantage by getting the elephant to believe and do what the ant requests.
Your way of thinking may actually be your elephant that is preventing you from what you define as success. One way to overcome the elephant is to believe that you can do it. Believe that you can build a successful network marketing business. See yourself already a success in your business. Perception creates reality.
We hear it all the time. It’s that “Why” pounded into our minds over and over again. You have to write it down. You have to repeat it to yourself and post it everywhere so you can see it. Your “Why” is what creates your belief, which allows you to tame and direct your elephant.
I’m sure that some may see my explanation as too simplistic. Your success really is as simple as baking a cake. All it requires is a few ingredients coupled with a super hot desire and off you go. With that mind-set, you are unstoppable. Do you think?
