Hey! Where’s My Lead List??

Friends , Family and No Friends Left ?

I find my leads list falls in the last category. I am signed in under my family. Some of my family just don’t click with networking. My friends are either in the business or watching me and considering. My grandma said it best ....“To make friends , be friendly”

Art this point the calls and contacts are either cold market, which are the people I don’t know and just now meeting or social media which is slightly warmer , but my personality being a cross between Steve Martin and Richard Pryor , I find I am a social media dropout. I am still learning in that area , you see I just don’t honestly care if “Fluffy “ had a flea bath. So for me social media is a challenge.

So that being said , back to just making a friend. The sources I use are MlmGateway, IBO social, mlm genealogy lists, opportunity seekers lists from various sources. One of the less expensive is Natashas leads.

I have been told you are wasting your time. Usually by someone who wants to sell me on their lead system. My reaction to that is #1 …it’s my time and #2 …if you have ever had to deal with an irate boss , who is having a bad day and wants to share theirs with you, then you know why I don’t see calls and contacts as a waste of time. It is simply part of the process. To me networking is similar to farming. You plant the seeds of thought. You fertilize the seed through training and additional information. And once they join comes the harvest. The next step is to help them with the network farming process. You have never heard of a farmer who plants one day and digs up the seed the next day saying ”I knew it wouldn’t work.”

Residual income is doing the job good and getting paid as long as they stay with the program.

It makes you look at your reason …Why? In a closer investigation. Your “Why”, the reason you will NOT give up. It drives you to make 1 more phone call and 1 more contact. Why talk so much about motivation when talking about the list? You won’t call without the motivation.

For some people the motivation is more freedom, more money, more time, a better….? Car, home , lifestyle. Sometimes it is motivation from a negative source…knowing what you don’t want…an example is no more time with a negative boss.

Thusly the architect within is reborn through network marketing. How would you restructure your life given the chance?

Looking again at our list acquisition, to me regardless of the source , I must make the effort to contact the individual . Some people will say no or not respond at all. A few times , I have been hung up on , I just look at the phone and say “Does that mean no then?” Standup comedy strikes again and we move forward. Some people change their mind or can’t remember filling out the form requesting information. It’s just part of the process of trying to find someone who is interested and wants an improved lifestyle.

I encourage you to keep dreaming, keep working, keep building your list and you might even see if “Fluffy” had that flea bath….let me know how you came out on that.
