Take a Leap of Faith

I have a question for you. Do you have a career but you're afraid you're going to get fired or maybe you're aging yourself out of the workforce or maybe you're working hard long hours, but don’t get any recognition for your dedication?

I totally get it! All of that was me.

For ten years I went to work every single day afraid and worried that today would be the day that I would get fired. We had reorgs every 6 months! I was working HARD for years, but after a while I learned that working hard for someone else does not pay off. My employer earnings had risen from 900 million to over 2 billion over the last 10 years, while I was still stuck with no prospect of growth or raise.

Meanwhile my kids would stay all day in the daycare anxiously waiting for me to pick them up after my work. Often, I found them in tears at pick up time because they were last one in the classroom. This broke my heart
