Pawsitively Well Teams Up With Smiles Pets4Vets in A Pawsitive Cause

Pawsitively Well's new program, A Pawsitive Cause, has launched! A Pawsitive Cause provides free access to CBD oil for rescue dogs in need through donations and fundraising. Dogs, just like their human caretakers, can greatly benefit from CBD oil. Many dogs that are brought into rescues have anxiety and medical conditions caused by poor nutrition and neglect. Tammi LaTorre, CBD educator and advocate and founder of Pawsitively Well created A Pawsitive Cause after hearing a story of 2 rescue puppies with epilepsy and how they benefited from CBD. Although many people are aware of CBD and its benefits, and products are available everywhere, it's an unregulated market and choosing a quality oil can be confusing and overwhelming. Pawsitively Well's CBD products are high quality, grown in Europe without chemicals or pesticides, and are third party tested with a Certificate of Analysis.  Why not create a program to make this high quality CBD oil available free to rescue dogs in need? And that's what we did and A Pawsitive Cause was born.

Teaming up with Smiles Forever Rescue and Smiles Pets4Vets, A Pawsitive Cause was launched! Smiles Forever Rescue is a 501(c)(3) companion animal rescue,  rescuing animals that are most in need, those on the euthanasia list for space, medical issues or resource guarding. Smiles Pets4Vets (P4V)  makes pet ownership a reality for military veterans who would not otherwise be able to afford a pet providing a special opportunity for veterans to save the life of a pet in need, and places adoptable pets in homes with veterans to serve as companions. Based on the needs of the veteran owner, Smiles Forever Animal Rescue can arrange for food, routine vet care, and transportation to veterinary appointments.

Biscuit, a Labrador/Great Pyrenees mix and DeeDee, a Mountain Cur, are the first 2 dogs to receive CBD oil through this new program. You can learn more about these dogs and follow their CBD journey on our web site www.PawsitivelyWell.dog.
