Are You Intimidated By Industry Leaders?

ARE YOU INTIMIDATED BY INDUSTRY LEADERS:

When you look for an opportunity, who do you look for to team up with? Do you look for proven leaders who have a genuine interest with the skills and the commitment to help you reach your goals or do you team up with your friends or other people who may not be the right fit to help you reach those goals? Do you follow the same old crowd where history has proven the people involved don’t have the skills to train you or help you get to the next level? Who have you followed who can provide you with a guaranteed system for success? If you found that person, would you “really” follow that system? Having a solid Sponsor is one thing, but doing what’s asked of you for guaranteed success is another story and a big part of why the failure rate is so high.

Network marketing requires a great deal of FOCUS, FOCUS, FOCUS, commitment, and work (activity), massive action, education and lots of hours of personal development. Whether you’re in network marketing or trying to start a traditional brick and mortar business, your responsibilities don’t change. Your need to take massive action doesn’t change. Your requirement to work on personal development doesn’t change. Your personally responsibility to bring in customers doesn’t change. Your personal responsibility to PROMOTE your business doesn’t change. Your personal responsibility to show where your business provides value doesn’t change. Being able to answer questions about your products or services doesn’t change. Your attention to detail and following a proven system for success doesn’t change. The reason why McDonalds does so well has nothing to do with their unhealthy meals, but everything to do with their proven “system” for success.

If you’re starting your own traditional business, I can assure you that you’ll be seeking advice from every place possible and hopefully you’ll apply that advice to keep your business from dying. It’s no different in your network marketing business. In a traditional business, the business owns YOU and you’ll be there 20+ hours a day whereas in network marketing, you can set your own hours and work from the comforts of your home. In this model YOU own your business, the business doesn’t own you. However, until you realize that network marketing is a business and needs to be treated as a business, you’ll never have a business generating any worthwhile income.

I can’t tell you how many times a “faker” or a so called leader entered one of my company’s over the years, just to watch them “act and perform” just like a newbie. These people brought nothing to the table. Some would enter the team and be a complete dud, but they post on the Internet all day long how amazing they are, how much money they earn (laughable) and how they can help YOU earn $10,000.00 a month. Trust me on this; the people making those claims don’t make $50.00 a month. Avoid these people or call them out on their claim.

Don’t get caught up in what “someone else” makes. If you’re not willing to do exactly what that person is doing to make their level of income, you will not see that level of income. I love it when people tell me they are working with 6-figure+ income earners and still can’t sponsor 2-3 people. It’s always going to be YOU YOU YOU who is responsible to figure this out and learn what it takes to be successful in network marketing. This industry is designed for everyone, but not everyone will do it.

Its mind blowing how much hype a person can put on themselves and how “big” they make themselves look, when in fact, they have a very small following, they have little to no influence on anyone, and they can’t even afford a $50.00 monthly auto-ship. Those that do follow them are just like them, chasing $1.00 and $10.00 deals hoping to make it big. There is only one exception to a $10.00 opportunity and that’s FutureNet.

It’s the same people who jump from deal to deal paying anywhere from $1.00 to $10.00 to join who claim how amazing they are by adding 25+ personals. Who is going to say no to a $1.00 deal? I can tell you who. It’s the people who don’t know any better. Wait until “real” money is needed and see who sticks around. It’s the desperate people and it’s the bottom feeders who never plan on doing anything once they enroll. It’s the people who fall for the hype and it’s the people who have no idea who the person is that’s feeding them all that false BS and hype. It’s the people who will invest a very small amount hoping and praying that something will happen. It won’t be them doing anything, so all you sponsors better get busy because you’re not going to get any help.

Please friends, we have to do a better job on the people we align ourselves with. Stop working in desperation to earn your next dollar and focus on doing something that allows you to help OTHERS. If you’re focused on you and how much you can earn and nothing else, it’s game over for YOU. Remember, you’re only as strong as your team. A team with 250 members where no volume is being generated is weaker than a team of 50 where everyone is moving product (money) each month.

Tip: Instead of trying to Sponsor as many people as you can, why not get 2-3 and STOP. Then help those 2-3 get their 2-3 and DUPLICATE that over and over. That’s all you need to do. What good is it to sponsor a crap load of people if you’re not helping those people sponsor a crap load of people? Please stop and think about that. You can’t manage 100 sponsored members anyway, so stop the madness. Enroll 2-3, slow it down and focus your attention on helping those 2-3 get 2-3. Without duplication, you will have nothing but a team of inactive people in the coming months. What you “will” get, however, is a new month to grind for new people, because you just let down those you already had.

That so called leader who suckered you into another deal will be gone in a matter of days or weeks doing something else and since you’re so awesome and a quick yes, you can believe you’ll be one of the first to get a call for the “next big thing”. Why not, you’re an easy YES. When does it stop? When do YOU stop? When will you realize that if you’re doing anything other than the secret sauce or following my peak, plug and pass system to grow your business that you may never get the results you’re after?

I can show you 1,000 opportunities and I can show merit in all of them, but it doesn’t mean you need to be promoting all of them. Either work one company and stick to it, or tie in 2-3 opportunities where you can build them as a system. Any other way will not earn you the money you’re after. Don’t believe me? Go build 4-6 opportunities and compare your expenses to your income in the first 6 months. My guess is 3-5 of those so called amazing opportunities will be in your rearview mirror in 6 months or less.

You’ll say, “I tried that one and nothing happened”. The truth is exactly that. You tried it, you didn’t launch it, you didn’t build it, you didn’t focus on it, and you just gave it a shot for a few days before you lost focus to work on the next new game changing deal.

Are you possibly intimidated by successful people? Do you want to align yourself with a top leader, but might be too scared to reach out to that person? Do you feel that you’re just too average, so you’d rather team up with someone who is also average in order not to look bad? Do you join companies out of loyalty with people who you already know can't or won't push you to new heights or have the skillset to train you? Are you afraid of losing a friend because deep down you really want to go in a new direction to team up with someone else, who may actually benefit you more favorably? Are you afraid if you teamed up with a proven leader that you might let him/her down or not be able to keep up? Are you afraid of success? Are you really just a tire kicker who isn’t that serious about building a business? Maybe you just want to give it a “try” and see where it goes. Bad idea! I can tell you exactly where your business will go and it involves a flushing mechanism. You’re either all in 100% and committed to building your business with your upline leaders or you’re not.

Are you afraid of failure? You can never fail, you can only succeed or quit. Are you too shy to align yourself with someone who is aggressive, outgoing, and goal oriented? Are you afraid of being pushed outside of your comfort zone? Are you against being led? Are you afraid of being challenged? Are you afraid that what you have to offer won't be enough? Are you afraid of the work ahead? Are you afraid that you don’t know enough?

Have you been blowing smoke up people's behinds for years as to how successful you've been, when you're average at best and have never been successful in this industry? Are you afraid of being exposed as a fake? Are you worried if you team up with a proven leader that you might actually become successful? Being successful scares certain people. What “if” you were to earn an extra $5,000.00 a month? Would you be job optional at that point? To some, it sounds awesome and to some it can be very scary. For people who have never made that kind of money ($5,000.00 a month), it’s hard for them to even relate to such a number.

Are you more comfortable aligning with the same people because you're comfortable with those relationships and happy to just get by? Is it more fun to be a part of the click and feel like you are part of something or is it more important to make money, where you can “still” have those amazing relationships?

The majority of all network marketers just get by… they spend a heck of a lot more than they ever earn and that’s because of two possible reasons. (#1) they have no idea what they are doing, so they typically don’t do anything at all or they do all the wrong things thinking they are right or (#2) when they are trained on exactly what to do for guaranteed success, they don’t do those things. Then when they fail, it’s the company’s fault or they have a bad sponsor or they didn’t like the product or they are too busy, blah, blah blah. It’s NEVER their fault. It’s funny how an opportunity with 20+ products and proven results can be disqualified by a single person who may have tried just one of the products and claims he didn’t like the product(s). This is just a way to get out for some.

Are you a peacemaker or a business builder? Are you more comfortable with a friend because you can stay in your comfort zone and never be pushed to be your best? Would you follow the advice of some flunky if you were to start a new traditional business or would you seek advice from a person with proven results who has already been in business? Again, network marketing is no different. If you need to make $5,000.00 a month to feel that your opportunity is worth your time, effort and energy, why would you align yourself with someone who can’t make $100.00 a month? On the flip side, why do people who are blessed to end up with a proven leader, not do what is asked of them to make the money they claim they want?

Are you following the same person from opportunity to opportunity to opportunity because that's just the way it's always been? Are you afraid of hurting your friend’s feelings by aligning yourself with someone else? If you're doing everything you're supposed to be doing and your friend isn't helping you reach your goals, it might be time to cut the umbilical cord and align yourself with someone else. Just make sure if you do that… that you also agree to work your butt off and do what’s expected of you. Don’t be the person who says, “I’m aligning myself with you because you know how to get me where I need to go”, but NOT DO THE WORK OR FOLLOW THE SYSTEM. Don’t be the person who says, “I’m glad you’re my sponsor because I’m ready to rock this” and NOT SHOW UP.

I will say this again and again and again because too many people haven’t figured this out. No one is going to build your business “for you” because they are “FOCUSED” on building their own business. Why can’t people FOCUS more on what they need to do to create a successful business for “themselves” and focus less on who can put someone below them. It blows my mind when I read a post from someone saying, “I’ve been in Company A for three weeks and I haven’t made any money… when can I expect to see something.” This same person hasn’t done one thing to create an income stream and hasn’t enrolled a single person, yet he’s whining because he’s not making any money. Stop the madness!

If you join “any” company with the “intent to profit” and you are not 150% committed and focused to personally enroll 2-3 members, DO NOT JOIN. No one will have time for you and it would be a waste of money.

If you can’t focus enough to build a solid team of 250-500+ members, working and duplicating in Company A, how can you possibly build 5-6 teams in Company’s ABCD & EFG? Welcome to the 97%. Are you READING and TAKING IN what I’m sharing with you here? If you fit the 97% of those who continue to struggle, now you know why and now you know that you can take this information and start fresh tomorrow. Put down what’s not working and start focusing on the actions that will help you reach your personal, physical and/or financial goals.

Unless you’re in a forced matrix or in a good binary leg, no leader is going to put a leader below YOU if you’re not doing anything to deserve it. Leaders are going to reward leaders. Stop sitting on your duff and stop posting on social media why you’re not making any money. If you are serious about making money… put some real action in place and GO MAKE IT. You can’t buy product(s), do nothing to grow your business, and expect to earn anything, while waiting for someone else to build your business for you. If you’re that person, you’ll be waiting a very long time and you’ll be gone in 60-90 days just to repeat this crazy process over and over again in another company.

How about this for an idea? How about you realize you’re in business and treat your business like a business. If your front line (level 1) requires you to enroll 2-5 people, than enroll 2-5 people, no matter how long it takes. If you follow my Secret Sauce, I guarantee you’ll do that. There is no timeline, but I personally believe if you “want” to enroll 2-5 people, that you will, and if you don’t, you won’t. If you don’t know how to prospect, learn how.

This is where a good sponsor comes in. You may need that education. If you’re not willing to enroll 2-5 people, because you don’t “want” to involve your friends and family, get out of this industry and continue with your job. This isn’t for you. The alternative is to spend money buying leads and solo ads. It takes money to make money.

We are in a relationship marketing industry, so if you think you’re going to build a strong and reliable empire online sitting behind a desk on Facebook, you have a big wakeup call heading your way. If you bring in people through online advertising, you still need to establish a relationship with them or you won’t see them after a few months or maybe sooner than that. Get out and meet people, talk to people face-to-face and let them know who you are and how YOUR opportunity can solve a problem for them in “their” life.

Your friend is your friend and I totally understand your loyalty, but for your success, for building a business and experiencing what's most important to you, is your friend the best business partner? Maybe and maybe not. Being loyal to a friend who will never push you and who will never be able to help you reach your goals is admirable, but, for the sake of your dreams, align yourself in business with someone better equipped and more determined to help you. Why align yourself with someone who is only focused on bringing in people, but doesn’t take the time to develop them or establish a relationship with them?

What is your network marketing experience number? If you consider yourself a 6 on a scale of 1 to 10, align yourself with an 8 or higher. If you consider yourself a beginner, such as a 2 or a 3, do you really want to team up with another 2 or 3? That person can’t help you like a 6 or an 8+ can.

Good leaders DO NOT care about your past levels of success. What they care about “mostly” is whether or not you're serious about building a business and if you’ll follow their guidance. No one wants their time being wasted in silliness and uncommitted people. I personally don’t care if you’re black or white, male or female, gay, straight or other. I care that you “allow” me to help you and that you follow the steps necessary to be successful. Use me and abuse me, but make sure you follow basic instructions. Your success is your sponsor’s success, so trust me that your sponsor “really” does want you to succeed.

Are you going to be a tire kicker or someone truly committed to success? Are you there just to try it out and see what happens or will you build your business with purpose? Are you going to stake your flag in one opportunity for 2-3 years or are you going to jump in everything that is thrown your way (shiny object syndrome)? A good leader cares that you're coachable, that you're willing to listen and that you're willing to work for what you want.

If you join “anything” with the mindset that you’re going to pay an entry fee, get placed somewhere while someone else builds your team, you have no clue what’s going on and you’ve just wasted your money. If anyone told you they were going to build a team for you, they most likely lied to you.

In a forced matrix, good things can come from that, but it’s all luck on where people fall sometimes. You can actually plan a position, but that can get tricky too. In a binary, one of your two legs may take off, but you’ll be responsible for the other one (all of it) if you want to get paid. In a uni-level, you’re on your own, especially if people can’t get moved around. If you’re in a uni-level where people can be moved, and you’re not active and getting involved, don’t expect people to be placed below you.

There is a small chance of you making money, especially in a forced matrix system, but don’t hold your breath too long. If you’re deep and YOU and those directly above you aren’t promoting, there is no way to generate spillover for you. It can take a very long time before you see spillover of any significant amount.

Good leaders care that you're reading, listening and participating, and inviting their help. Good leaders don't care what you know, they care that you're willing to learn and that you'll apply what you learn. Good leaders care that you're focused on your goals, engaged and moving forward. Good leaders care that if you’re given a proven system for success that you’ll follow it. Good leaders care that you’re making time to build your business. Good leaders care that you’re participating in team groups, that you make team calls and so on. Good leader’s care that you’re up to speed on your company and that you understand the product(s) and services and how basics of the compensation plan. I know people in 4-6 opportunities and they can’t explain one of them. Very sad!

For the leaders - You can be the BEST leader on the team, but understand you can’t help everyone. If your leadership and experience isn’t being invited, that’s on those below you. It’s not your fault, so don’t own it. We all know the old saying, “you can bring a horse to water, but we can’t make him drink.” It’s no different here. If you’re a good leader, continue to be a good leader and spend your time helping those who invite your help. Not everyone on your team is going to invite your help, so don’t take it personally if people drop out of your team or do very little to advance. Let’s them stay right where they’re at because it won’t be long before they move on to another company to fail there too. The 97% of people who fail is 100% of their own doing, so accept it for what it is. The 3% were willing to figure it out and get it done while the 97% were not able to figure it out. The 97% work for the 3% in corporate America. As a good leader, all you can do is offer your services and be there for them when “they” reach out to you. You can spend time trying to reach out to those who are struggling or not being productive, but you can only do that for so long. Trust your gut. When you feel your time and attention to someone is just being wasted, push that person over to the back burner and focus more on those who are reaching out to you. I know it’s hard to leave “anyone” behind because we know deep down that we can help them, but sometimes you just have to move on.

How long should you reach out to people before you realized they are wasting your time? I say don’t do it too long. You’ll know in the first 30 days who you have. Why would any good leader continue reaching out to someone who’s not committed after weeks and months wasted effort? That is time taken away from someone who really needs help and who is “inviting” your help. If you’re part of the 97% expecting everything to be done for you, don’t expect your upline leaders to waste any time on you or chase you down to help you.

Only 4 basic things are required for guaranteed success and the sad truth is that 97% of the people never make it through step 1. Step 1 is making a list of 150+ names of the people you know without prejudging them and then sorting out those names to identify your best 30-50 leads in your local area. Your task in step 1 is to look through your phone and all your social media outlets and write down names without prejudging anyone. I know Mary Smith, so I’ll write her name down. I know Jerry Jones, so I’ll write his name down. I know Mary, Peter, John, Steve, and Kathy etc… so I’m going to write their names down. I’ll write down the names of all my family members and so on. THAT’S IT FOLKS. JUST WRITE DOWN THE DARN NAMES. Making your list is critical to your success and most will never do this important part of building their business. Once you have those names in place, a good leader will know what to do with those names.

Try what I do. For people without a true following, I won’t even help them until they show me a list of names with 50+ people. If they can’t do that, you can’t really expect anything else from them. Step 1 is by far the easiest step out of the 4, yet people continue to fail in this area.

No matter what your dreams are, if you're willing to work for what you want, you will get what you want, so doesn't it make sense to align yourself with someone who can help you reach those dreams? Then once you find that person, will you be willing to do what’s asked of you? Are you willing to do what the 3% do or do you want to stay where you are in life for the rest of your life? Only you can answer that.

Can a white belt in karate teach you how to become a black belt? Can a scrawny person who weighs 120 pounds soaking wet teach you how to become a body builder? Can a person who’s never been to a gym tell you how to use all the equipment? Can a heavy person who’s never lost 5 pounds teach you how to lose 50? Can a person who’s never made $1,000.00 teach you how to make $10,000.00? Can a person who’s never seen a Football game explain the rules? Would you call a plumber to fix your roof? Would you call an electrician to explain why you have brown spots in your lawn? Can a person with old and beat up skin tell you how to look young and vibrant? Am I getting through to you yet?

I can't tell you how many people I've spoken to over the years who continue to follow the same people from opportunity to opportunity and continue to stay broke. Loyalty is one thing, but can we agree if you really want something in life that you should team up with someone who is able to help you the best and someone who will do everything in his/her power to help you? Are YOU willing to help YOU? We can’t keep blaming our leaders and the companies we join for OUR failures.

As a leader, you have one basic responsibility and that’s to help those you enroll reach “their” goals. If you sponsor someone with a goal of getting to $1,500.00 a month in residual income, it’s your responsibility to do everything in your power to make that happen. Granted you can only do so much, so do what you can until you can’t any longer. You’ll find a number of people who want the good life, but will refuse to work for it or will make every excuse possible to why they can’t. There is no such thing as can’t in network marketing. You either will or you won’t. It’s those who won’t that you wave bye-bye to, so you can focus more on those who will and those who are inviting your help and following your lead.

I know by experience if I help my teammates get all the things they want that I’ll have all the things I want. I can’t force my help on others and neither can you, but those that invite my help and follow my secret sauce formula do extremely well. You don’t know what you don’t know, so grab a copy and follow it.

If the masses knew what they were doing and if the masses actually followed a proven system, there wouldn’t be a 97% failure rate. Math doesn’t lie and this can be fixed by aligning yourself with a person who can actually teach you how to grow your business. Once you know what to do and when you’re ready or willing to put massive action in place, the world will be yours. It’s really that simple. There are no short cuts, there is no easy way to do this and it’s going to require you to grind just as you would in any business you own.

If you want to be an attorney, do you want to be trained by seasoned attorneys or one of their paralegals? Paralegals know a lot, but they don't go to court, they don't sit in on trial cases, and they don't “fight” and grind for you. Attorneys know the system, so why get your training from a paralegal?

Just like you should be recruiting up (people at an equal or higher financial status) for business builders, why not recruit up to align yourself with a proven leader? Find someone who's been where you want to go and get to work. Stop chasing money and stop following the same crowd because they advertise the next big thing is it. This is the big one, get in now, get in early, it’s going to be huge. It’s a game changer, pre-launch, tens of thousands are already lined up, you’ll get a top spot, and you’ll earn a 6-figure income in the next few months, and so on. Aren’t you tired of hearing that crap? None of that is true.

What’s true is if you work your butt off, you’ll get what you deserve. If you don’t put in the required work, you’ll also get what you deserve. Don't follow these people for the fear of loss or because you or they make you feel like you owe them something. You are NOT someone’s property. Just because you followed Mary into Company A and Company B and Company C and Company D (you know I’m right), it doesn’t mean you are required or obligated to follow Mary into Company E. It’s your life and your business. If you’re willing to do the work, follow the right person, but you have to do the WORK. I you enjoy going from company to company and never staking your flag, continue to follow Mary.

There is no cheat sheet to what we do, there are no shortcuts, and success requires a great deal of work. Be smart about the person and the company you align with and learn how to be the best you possible.

I've realigned myself with huge players, a dynamic duo who are proven leaders and who have made hundreds of millions of dollars in this industry and produced BILLIONS of dollars in team sales in two separate companies. I want to make hundreds of millions of dollars too, so I realigned myself with them recently because they can help me get to where I want to be. They are the most successful couple to ever work in the network marketing industry and I started with them back in 1986. Someone who’s never made $1,000.00 dollars can’t show you how to make $10,000.00, much less $100,000.00 dollars. Be smart people!

What do you want? What do you really want and can you get what you want under the leadership and the opportunity you're attached to? Will the company you’re in even be around in 3-5 years? And regardless of the opportunity you’re in, are you doing your part? If you have the right person leading you, are you going to get off your butt and do what’s required to become successful? Most won’t. It’s not that they can’t, it’s that they won’t.

Don’t blame your sponsor or your upline leadership for YOUR failure, especially if you’re not doing what is required of you. Don’t be afraid to branch out and align yourself with successful leaders. Once you have that connections, stick with those leaders and don’t even consider venturing away from them.

Rome wasn’t built overnight, so don’t expect your team to. Trust those proven leaders, commit to them, be patient, learn everything you can, put in your time and enjoy the rewards. Commitment isn’t 90 days. Commitment is 2-3 years, so choose wisely at where you want to hang your business hat.

In the end and I’ve said this already, your Sponsor plays a big role to your success, but only to a point. A good Sponsor can motivate you, teach you things, share ideas with you, do 3-way calls for you, speak at business launch parties for you and so on, but ultimately, it’s up to YOU and no one else to build your business.

You can have me as your sponsor for example who tells you exactly what to do, and if you do those things, you will become very successful. If you “choose” not to do those things because you don’t want to or because it’s uncomfortable, that’s on you, not me. People “love” the idea of network marketing, but only until they realize they have to work. I don’t call what we do work, I consider it fun, but there are easy ways and hard ways to have fun. Trust me, when you and everyone else are making money, it’s a lot of fun.

The 97% failure rate is not hype or misleading. That number is high because people come into this industry thinking they know it all or that they will do it “their” way because they know best. When that happens, people do not produce the income(s) they’re looking for. Yes, Sponsors are important, but if you don’t listen and take action on what’s necessary to grow your business, it makes no difference how good that leader is.

The 97% are people who are not serious about building a business. They are not committed to one thing long-term. They jump from deal to deal spending more and more money and may never see residual income. They don’t follow the guidance of proven leaders. They don’t FOCUS on the task(s) and they don’t set reasonable and manageable GOALS. They don’t set dedicated time each week to build their business, yet they have time for 4-5 hours of TV every night and they have time for weekend social events that will never contribute to their business. They are too entitled and too lazy and too many people have no idea what it means to be in business. If all you have is 2-3 hours a week to work your business, make sure you utilize every minutes of that time for your business without distractions.

Take a hard look at YOU and ask yourself if you’re really doing everything you can to grow your business. If you are or if you’re willing to, make sure you align yourself with someone who has the skills and the tools to help you reach your goals. Like I said, it doesn’t mean crapola if you have a great leader showing you the way. What matters is if you will or if you won’t follow their proven system.

If you have to talk to 100 people to ultimately enroll 3-5 people, that’s actually an industry standard. You are NOT going to enroll 20 people and see 20 people blowing up their business. If you enroll 20 people, you’ll be lucky if 2-3 actually do anything. Welcome to life and welcome to the 97%. There are more of them then there are of us, so blend in as best as you can. Just make sure YOU remain in the 3% category and that YOU continue to do what’s required of you. Don’t talk about being successful, SHOW people what success looks like. Never brag about how much money you make. That doesn’t impress me. What impresses me is you bragging about an income level of someone on your team.

Final thought - If you research most of the top income earners in network marketing, you will find that they were promoting one opportunity / business / company and they worked that business part time in their spare time and keep that going until they could work that business fulltime and ultimately retire from their JOB (Just Over Broke).

These top income earners aligned themselves with good leaders and they staked their flag. They wouldn’t even consider the thought of building a new company. Top income earners focus on what is making them money. They don’t reach a certain income level just to stop and focus on something new and exciting. They build more and more momentum on what they ALREADY have built. They don’t try building 5-6 companies. You know why? Because it doesn’t work.

All you can do is do what you know needs to be done. People for the most part are told what to do, and for the most part, they “choose” not to do those things. Work smart, not hard.

I consider myself a network marketing professional and I’ve made my fair share of money over the past 30 ears. I also know I can help “anyone” reach their financial dreams, but they have to follow what I suggest them to do.

What I can’t do is teach desire, commitment and passion. Don’t think you are alone when it comes to enrolling new people and watching them fade away. It happens. It doesn’t matter how good you are or what you offer as a team leader. Some people will just never do anything. Accept that for what it is, don’t take it personal and keep moving. We have a saying, “some will, some won’t, so what – who’s next.” Get the word out to as many people as you can and work with those who share your vision. If you’re not doing what’s expected of you first, don’t expect anything different from anyone else on your team. Lead by example.

Give your best every day and work with those who invite your help. Love on the rest, but love them from a distance.

No matter what you do, no matter how hard you try and no matter how hard you preach the importance of the secret sauce, the peak, plug and pass system, following up, and understanding my placement sponsor system, “most” people will never follow that training. It’s a solid blueprint for guaranteed success, but people today will not follow it. It’s like painting by the numbers. The 97%’ers are there for a reason, just like the 3%’ers are where they are. Do not question your leadership. Question the person’s inability to follow instructions, to act, to commit to something long-term, to have passions and patients, to really want change, and so on.

I’ve looked at people right in the eye, I’ve hugged them, I’ve poured out my heart to help them, I’ve dedicated hours and hours to help, and I assured them success if they would just follow my proven system and still, not everyone is ready for change. It’s sad, but “some” people will never understand what we do and we can’t expect them to. Some people will never produce no matter what you do and no matter what you offer or promise.

When you decide to align yourself with a proven leader and when you decide to stake your flag in 1-2 proven opportunities and take the action needed to succeed, you “will” succeed. Until then, you’ll never get out of the rat race of the 97%.

This topic covered a little more than I anticipated, but I hope you get something out of it and I hope you can find the right path to better your life and your finances. If you “really” want change, do something about it.

I am no smarter than anyone out there trying to create a residual income in network marketing. The only thing that separates me from most (the 97%) is that I “apply” myself more than most.

If you want to be a club member, be a club member of the 3%. It’s a lot more fun.

See you at the top…
