What are the obstacles stopping you driving a better car?

Hi. How's it going with you? May I ask if you would be willing to share what are the obstacles preventing you from driving a better car than you do currently?

From what I understand from car drivers, and I include myself in this, there are a number of clear reasons why people are stuck with less than their ideal car.

1. Purchase price - This limits choices as without the cash/capital, lower price cars are the only option.

2. Credit limits - The better your credit rating with credit check agencies, the better interest rates and therefore monthly payments you can get - and of course the opposite also applies - anyone with poor credit has to pay through the nose for a car loan; that's if they can even get one!

3. Insurance - If you have a clean licence with no penalty points and you've been driving for many years so you have built up a good 'No Claims Bonus' your insurance is less - However, if you are young, are a new driver, or if you've had claims of any kind (even if not 'your fault'), or if you have caught some speeding tickets or the like, insurance can be expensive; for some it's even prohibitive. When my son wanted to start to learn to drive he was quoted £4,000 a year!

4. Cash Flow - Add up all the costs for car ownership and it often comes to a pretty penny. If you have a low income; maybe have high overheads, it can be impossible or unmanageable to afford the regular costs for a car at all; especially when it comes to paying for servicing and repairs, tax, MOT etc. Or it has to be a 'Budget' car anyway.

Does any of this sound familiar? Does it ring true for you? Or are you sitting comfortably with enough disposable income to shed out about 20-25% of your income each month on car costs? And if so, are you happy with that or would you like to see if there's a better way to spend your money whilst enjoying something better to drive?

If you didn't have to worry about Credit Checks, didn't have to worry about insurance, didn't have to worry about repairs or servicing, or tax or the capital or finance or high monthly payments would you drive something better than you are now?

Or if it's not a problem to afford what you pay now, would you rather not pay that much? Would you prefer to have the peace of mind of knowing you don't have to trouble yourself with all these things, you could just get in your car, put fuel in, drive off, and everything was taken care of at a very affordable monthly fee?

Sounds like  a dream doesn't it?

Just so you know, if you're fed up with how the system works now, you're not the only one! And now there is a new movement afoot to approach driving a car in a better way. One that doesn't put obscene profit in the pockets of banks, finance companies etc etc.

As with many challenges in life, often it's facing them alone that is the biggest hurdle. You probably know from other walks of life that when you can face a challenge with another, or with others, it can be less daunting and much more manageable; often that means success where previously there was not.

Are you a 'Team Player'? Are you willing to join together with others to crack this one?

Have you ever been a member of a Club, or a part of a Team? How did that work? Did it mean you got more done? At a better rate? Like the gym - you just pay your share and you don't need to buy all the equipment yourself. How many people would be keeping themselves fit and trim if they had to buy all the fitmess equipment themselves?

Well, then how about doing the same with your car? Would you rather 'Go it alone'? And be able to say "I did it My way"? Or would you rather get this one sorted and get on with the rest of your life and travel around in something much better than you have now? I don't mean you have to share driving your car, it's still yours to use whenever you like, but by joining together with others the obstacles mentioned above can be reduced from insurmountable mountains to insignificant unnoticeable bumps on the road.

Oh, and another thing; do you have character? I mean strength of character; or do you have a "Me Me! Now! Now!" Mentality?

And would it kill you to be helping others along the way of helping you reach your own goals? Or can you feel good knowing that you have achieved success without it being at the expense of others; that it has benefitted others along the way?

If you are still reading this, well done! Are you interested? Excited? Curious?

If so then check out this website and if you catch the vision and want those better wheels at a fraction of what you're paying for what you've got now then either get back to me with questions, or just go straight ahead and accept this as your personal invitation to join our brilliant PCC Club.
