The Challenge of Network marketing and / or affiliation programs.

I was introduced 22 years ago for the first time to Multi-Level Marketing, via Amway. This concept started in 1920, but Amway has made this concept very popular since it was founded in 1959. Since then, thousands of companies would use the same concept to bridge the link between consumer and manufacturer.

Every product that is marketed according to the Network- or Multi-level Marketing principle, will always do what the manufacturer or supplier says. There is no doubt about that.

What constitutes a Challenge is to make sales so great, to set up such a large network that the supplier is "happy" about that. Yet there are people who do not succeed or networks that fail. This is not due to the product, certainly not. But this is due to the fact that the way network marketing works requires constant new leaders in these networks.

Regardless of what the reward structure looks like, it's always going to be a challenge to find leaders who again find leaders to populate a network.

Leadership is the biggest challenge. Not everyone is a leader and fortunately too. If you can localize in your network who is and who does not, you know what to expect from your team.

A 2nd Challenge is the reward structure of such a network- or affiliate program.

As an independent entrepreneur, you need to always remain motivated to perform in your company. You have to spend a lot of time and sacrifice a lot. This also applies to your Network Marketing or Affiliate program. Not everyone participates for the same reason.

If you participate to realize a larger goal or -dream, it helps if the remuneration structure is such that you can regularly see income, even with a smaller team.
