WHY I STARTED A CHEMICAL FREE LIFESTYLE

Okay, I’m not going to lie to y’all. At first, I was very skeptic of using essential oils and even more skeptic about wasting my money on them. I did a ton of research about essential oils, and honestly, every single page was study after study about these powerful products. So, after my research, I took it a step further and learned what chemicals are in my everyday routine. My makeup, candles, laundry detergent, household cleaner, etc. were all infused with chemicals that I honestly can’t even pronounce. -Side note, I dare you to go try and pronounce every single ingredient on one of your household cleaners, I bet you can’t do it..- Anyways, slowly but surely, I started throwing out one by one and have noticed a huge difference. My air glade plugins that usually last for a few days, are now replaced with one cotton ball of 3 drops of Young Living Thieves in my air vent. This one cotton ball has my entire apartment smelling like fall and it even has lasted two weeks! My Clorox wipes and every other cleaner I own are now replaced with Thieves HouseHold cleaner! My apartment has always smelt like those nasty cleaners that eventually make you want to pass out since the smell is overpowering, but now it smells like Thieves with zero chemicals, and a fresh smell!! My Clinique  makeup is now replaced with Young Living Savvy Minerals line!

You’re probably thinking, “wow what a crazy chemical free nut head”.. But let me just say, I am 20 years old and a college student, and for being at such a young age to discover what we harm our bodies with everyday, I personally think is amazing. No, I am not majoring in anything to do with science, or chemicals, this is just me giving my testimony and why I use essential oils every single day now. Most people at my age think that essential oils are a scam. Let me just say, I thought the same thing until I dipped my toes in the water and tried the oils for myself. Now, 75% of everything in my apartment is chemical free thanks to Young Living. Including my makeup.
