My name is kim smith i am the team lead & admin with stw, i would like to share with you how stw has changed my life.   In 2012 a docotor told me that my hands where giivng up and i wouldnt have the use of them within  1 year  maybe 2.  I was told to stop working or the out come wouldnt be good.  Well as a single mom , "just stop working" was not an option in my life at the time.  I forged forward and continued on with my career until march of 2015 . For over a year i was advised by 3 specialist, 4 surgeons, 5 docotors, & 2 hand therapist that my work days were done.  No exceptions i was never going to be cleared by a docotor to ever work again. 

This was alot to process when you are the soul income provider.  Well sad went to bad.   I "robbed peter to pay paul" for as long as i could moving money around, drained my savings, maxed out every credit card i could the list goes on and on.. The end result was i lost everything .  No money was coming in period and i was on my own with no money in sight..  My family ended up living in a tent for 7 months. ... Couch surfed through the months of september through november, & completed  our year sleeping in a  tiny car  in the dead of winter in -25 degree weather , 4 foot snow drifts, & no money for gas to stay warm.     By pure stubborness and determination i did any side work i could find , trash pick up, snow shoveling, all the cold nasty jobs that were out in the bitter cold.  I ended up living in a parking lot that had a wifi signal i could connect to.  I started searching online for something that i could do from the coziness of my car.   Even with my extreme hand limitiation i never gave up.  You can give up or you can succeed but you can't do both. I wanted ... Needed.... Insisted on having somewhere warm again.

I went from homeless.. To having a home..  I now have a fully furnished apartment for my family .  I am currnetly the team lead & on the admin team with stw .. Positivity,  hard work, determination, & team work always pays off
