Green Goddess CBD Dispensary powered by Wakanna is an online CBD Dispensary store.  I decidecd to launch my own business after learning about the medicinal benefits of cbd/hemp - the non-psychoactive kind.  In 2018, my hair began to fall out and in 2019 I was diagnosed with CCFA which is a scarring form of alopecia. It was at that time, I began looking for a natural alternative to help regrow and retain my hair.  I learned that cbd/hemp is excellent at combatting inflammation and can be used on the scalp or taken orally to aid with hair retention and growth.  This was the motivation for me to start my own online cbd business. Wakanna was founded by four amazing black women whom are all well educated and leaders in their respective industries.  Our products are powered by Wakanna and are made in the U.S., natural, organic and tested by a third party lab. Their hemp powered hair and other hair and skin care products are amazing and I personally have seen results.  My passion as part of this business is to not only raise awareness about the medicianal benefits of cbd/hemp but to encourage African American women to deal with what they maybe hiding under the wigs, weaves and braid styles.  Hair loss is an epidemic in our community with traction alopecia related to how we style our hair being the main culprit.  Its time for us to fall back in love with our own hair and deal with the hair loss and thinning many of us are experiencing.  

I will be hosting my business launch and pop up shop event on Thursday, September 16th from 5p to 9p CST at Wilburn Street Studios on Wilburn Street in beautiful East Nashville. Come out meet the owner, see a product demonstration, learn about business development opportunities, enjoy a cocktail and food (for purchase) and browse/shop the pop up shop.
