It's All About the MONEY: Are you being PAID enough?

Compensation plans. They're one of the selling points of Network Marketing, because they hold the key to residual income that allows time freedom! I know we all think that our company's comp plan is the best, no one else could come close, and everyone should join us. 

BUT...

What if you're wrong? What if your compensation plan actually SUCKS? And you don't even know it?!

Did you know that the average number of companies Network Marketers join in their career is 7? 7 companies. I know people who have joined over 20 in their career. So what makes YOUR opportunity or MY opportunity so special? What makes it "the one"?


The Compensation Plan.


Let me ask you a few questions, and BE HONEST with yourself:

1. Do you know HOW you get paid? (No, not direct deposit or Venmo, but what actions that you or your team make result in YOU getting paid?)

2. How often do you get paid? Daily, weekly, monthly? All of the above?

3. Do you know the percentage of overall sales that you get paid for?

4. Do you get paid on your ENTIRE team, or only those you enroll personally?

5. Is there a CAP on your earnings? 

6. Is your income restricted by the person who enrolled you?

7. Does your volume RESET on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis? Or does it HOLDOVER? And if it does, how long does it holdover?

8. Are the rank advances in your company clearly defined with bonuses for each one?

9. Are you ever confused as to how to make more money in your business?

10. Are you truly making residual income (money while you sleep)?

11. Are you HAPPY with your current income?

12. Have you considered what it would look like to double or triple your current income?

13. Does your comp plan include exponential growth?


All of these questions are to help you understand your business. I'll give you a hint: some of these things, if you answered no to, should be GIANT RED FLAGS. 

You should NOT have a CAP on your earnings.

You should know EXACTLY how you get paid.

You should be able to surpass your sponsor/upline in income.

I could go on. But, I'm here to say: evaluate your company. Do you trust them? Do they seem fishy? Have they ever had a massive issue or failure to pay compensation?

If so, RUN. Get out of that company, and do it as fast as you can. Don't waste your time building a team to not even know how you get paid for it.
