The impact of good health

To have good health we must cultivate health habits. 

Health habit is any behavior that benefits your physical, emotional, and mental health. Health habits such as eating well, avoiding harmful or hazardous substances, having enough exercise all make sense, but the question is 'how often do we practice them'? 

Developing health habit requires little sacrifice because it is not totally easy but the impact is far-reaching regardless of whether you are a man or woman, young or old physically fit or not. Below are some importance of health habit :


Health habits control weight 

When you exercise regularly and eat the right thing you will be avoiding gaining excess weight and so you will maintain a healthy weight. Physical activities will not only help you to achieve your weight loss goals, it will also boost your immune system, improve your cardiovascular health, and also increase your energy. 



Controls weight

Eating right and exercising regularly can help you avoid excess weight gain and maintain a healthy weight. According to the Mayo Clinic, being physically active is essential to reaching your weight-loss goals. Even if you’re not trying to lose weight, regular exercise can improve cardiovascular health, boost your immune system, and increase your energy level.

Exercise yourself for at least 30mins every day, but should your time not permit you, then increase your activities for each day. How? 

Use the stairs instead of the lift/elevator, cycle instead of driving, 

Include fruits and vegetables in your meal. Do not eat heavily at night, avoid avoiding breakfast.



Health habit combat diseases 

Certain health conditions such as stroke, heart disease, increase I'm blood pressure can be prevented through health habit. 

Physical activities willprevemt the following or manage them for you:


Arthritis 


Depression 


Diabetes 


Cancer etc


Examination of the body to know your weight, blood pressure and heartbeat should be done.



Health habit makes you live longer 

The American Council on Exercise showed in their study that people that walk 30mins daily have a reduced chance s of dying prematurely compared to those who do not exercise. Exercise your body everyday. Start from 5mins exercise and grandually increase it to about 30mims daily.
