How Can Being Like a Traffic Cop Make You a Successful at Network Marketing?

When I signed up with my first network marketing company, I had visions of caviar and a thirty room mansion with two swimming pools, a dock for my yacht, and golden toilets.

Well, it didn’t work out that way. I couldn’t understand why others couldn’t see this golden opportunity that I had seen. I mean I was holding nothing back. I was more than happy to tell them everything I knew about the product and how it could change their life.

I would also tell them about all the money I was going to make and what I was going to do with it. However, the money didn’t come, and for some reason, I was losing all my friends.

Then I decided that I need to take my business online. People online would get it. I would try and message old friends I hadn’t talked to in a long time. I did paid traffic. I tried blogging.

By far the most success I got was from paid traffic.

After a bit, I got good at generating leads using different sources. Converting those leads, on the other hand, was difficult.

It wasn’t until someone I had met while trying to build my business told me about a company unlike any I had ever seen. At first, I wasn’t interested. I am a loyal person, and I was going to stick to my old company, even if I hung in until I was broke.

Finally, I went on the free tour of the company website. I had never seen anything like it. First off the product is relevant right now and is growing into a multi-billion dollar industry all on its own.

In other words, if you want to go west the fastest way to go west is to jump in front of a train going west, and guess what? You're going to go west.

 My decision was simple, do I want to come on board for the ride or not. The company provided all the tools I needed. They had free pieces of training from leading industry trainers, all the landing and capture pages I needed, and a state of the art tracking system that allows me to keep track of my efforts so I could keep track of what was or was not working.

Most importantly they train you to let the tools do the heavy work. Meaning, shut up and let the tools tell the stories.

My whole job wasn’t to convince anyone of anything. All I need to do is to drive traffic to my free company provided website. I can use paid traffic, sharing with friends, contacting people on social media, or telling people in real life. Whatever method I was comfortable with or could afford to do.
