Keep Your Ears to The Ground
Opportunity knocks all the time for those who place there doors where it can be knocked. I just made that up. But that is just how I am living the entrepreneur's life. I am placing my door right in front of any I meet. I then open up and greet them to establish a relationship and at anytime in the nearby future, they will bring good news or a great idea in which we can solve a problem and make some money in the process.
I am what many Jamaicans call an "In da Streets" youth. I walk a lot in the major Jamaican towns and strike up conversations with willing persons. They always give me information that can help. They always have something new to boost one of my ideas. Sometimes the simple reason why they fail to act is fear. Then the lack of organizing their thoughts lead to multiplication of fears.
Being 'In da Streets" I know the importance of staying in contact with the persons at the grass roots in the society. In building my empire these persons are my ground infantry. In fact, they are very well considered my ground. The same ground Indians listen to and read prints from when tracking a prey. Like the indian warrior, I put my ear to the ground to find the next direction of the flow of success. Putting my ears to the ground means for me to talk to the clever people I know and share ideas with for success.
So I make it my point of duty to constantly talk to persons for new ideas and even expand old ones. My ears are big and I use them a lot. I am a good listener and spend hours with those I value. A matter of fact, I determine in a matter of seconds, the value of what persons are saying to me. Once a stranger has value I will spend hours chatting with them. I also write down the important points. As an entrpreneur I don't leave the house without my note pad and pencil. Then I have my notepad apps on my phone and tablet as back up. I just can't let a good idea pass. So I leave myself open to the good stuff.
Just recently I was just having a casual conversation with a taxi driver I never met prior. And he was very kind to let me know of some very important development in the industry. Something that I would not see in the news paper until too late. As an Investor as well I know how important timely info is. The info before too much people know is key to making a profit sometimes. I used my back up note pad to save the memory. Then went home and checked out the requirements I need to profit from the idea. All things being equal my christmas and new year looks bright. lol
Well you see, the benefit of Wealthy Affiliates will also multiply my reach in how I can profit from my niches and help others build their wealth. Basic training like building a website, owning a domain and selling whatever you want and like from your very own website has started earning for me and will only get better. I can just imagine how the Wealthy Affiliate platform and training will only make me better able to propel other entrepreneurs to their dreams as well.
