Having tried network marketing in the past and failed, I have looked again for home- based business opportunities to supplement my pension.

My plan to retire earlier was frustrated when my wife and I were defrauded by a lawyer. That lawyer was sentenced to a term of imprisonment by a court in the UK but that was in her absence because she had left the country. She was convicted of defrauding another client.

I turned to network marketing and a home- based business. I paid a marketer for coaching. For whatever reason that was not successful. Nonetheless I retained a positive attitude.

As a result of my experience,however,  I know what people mean when they post details of their education on social media and state "School of hard knocks"!

The 2019/2020 Pandemic has caused many deaths  globally and many people have suffered through illness and loss of livelihoods.My experiences pale into insignificance compared to them. During this very unusual year we learned a lot about “social distancing”, but Psalm 38 suggests that this policy is not a new idea. Verse 13 of Psalm 38 reads

“ My friends and companions avoid me because of my wounds;

 My neighbours stay far away”.

Whilst the world has seen many Pandemics in the past, including the Black Death and the Spanish Flu Pandemic in 1918, what is different about the 2019/2020 Pandemic is that today we have the internet. This has enabled us to keep in touch with friends and family and business acquaintances by remote means.

It appears that many people have become used to the benefits of working from home. That is certainly the case with me.

The lock down has enabled me to retain a positive approach to life despite unfortunate experiences in the past, and I am determined to succeed with my online business opportunities. I learned long ago that a positive mindset is crucial in life.

Two months ago, I discovered a successful marketer John Thornhill, and I decided to take the plunge with his Partnership to Success programme after listening to him conducting a webinar. He struck me as a person of integrity and in a very short period of time he taught me how to build a blog.

Joining John Thornhill’s programme, has led to other opportunities. For instance, another member of John’s private Facebook Group told me about  MLM Gateway. 

The lesson of my experience is that a positive approach to life is vital. You only fail when you give up. The internet offers countless business opportunities offered by people of integrity and I am delighted that I have discovered John Thornhill and MLM Gateway.
