Checklist before you sign up with MLM

It can be quite daunting looking at all the opportunities in front of you where companies offer you opportunities to change your life. Some are very convincing but you must not fall into the trap of possibly ONCE AGAIN relieving yourself of money only to find that whatever you sold never even made up for what you spent.

Ask yourself the following questions before you take the plunge.

1) How big is the company?   A large company will have established team players and a proper structure with a clear focus. A small company may do well for you but the risk is higher.

2) How solid is the company financially?  Large or small you need to be sure that the company is financially stable and you can do a little research to check this out.

3) is it a "One Product Company"?  It may be a great product but with all eggs in one basket you only have a 50/50 chance of selling it. A range of products provides a wider choice for customers who like to browse with a greater chance of making a purchase.

4) Is the product range consumable?  if you are not able to obtain repeat business from your customers over a 4-6 week period then you will always be looking for new clients to maintain your income. The whole idea here is for you to BUILD a business and not to have to RELY upon your income coming solely from selling one offs.

5) Does it cost money to start? If the checklist so far has shown positive results then the company can afford to give you a start up opportunity FREE. many companies have reduced price starter kits which work very well but do not be dragged into a scenario where you feel that you will not get anywhere without one.

6) Is there FREE training?  Make sure that you get as much upfront information from your sponsor about any training facitilities and whether or not you have to pay for it. A good company will provide training free of charge.

7) How experienced is your sponsor in building a business? Your sponsor or upline should  have a successful background with the company or previous business development experience to be able to train you and motivate you aside of the official training program. If they are good at what they do then just copy them.

8) What is the delivery service like? Speak to others who have purchased products from the company or go and buy a low priced product yourself to test the water before you commit yourself.

9) How helpful is the upline team of people? it's not just your sponsor that can help. Do you know who sponsored your sponsor? Is there a good team of people in the organisation willing to share ideas with you.

10) Are the products competitive and are there regular offers available? it is important that your customers are constantly enthused with great discount offers at the right time with quality products that compete favourably against any retail store on a like for like basis.
