What do you really desire?

I spend a lot of time in the car travelling around for work each day, and I came to realisation that I waste a massive amount of time in the car listening to nonsense radio. So I decided that each time i'm in the car, I will listen to something of value, such as a podcast or audio book. It has been a massive change for the positive! So I thought I would share with you something that I have learnt this week!

So to start let me ask you this question... What is it that you really desire? 

I thought I knew the answer to this question. I thought my answer would have been success in my business, or making £5000 a month, or hitting the top rank. But as I listened intently to the voice in my car speakers something strange happened. 

I realised that I didn't care about the money, the success or the rank. You see I realised that for me (you may be different and that's cool!) these things in themselves weren't enough to get me through the rainy day, the rejection and the effort of trying to build a network marketing business. These things wouldn't stop me from giving up or throwing in the towel if it all got to much and I felt like quitting.

As I listened further, I was prompted to think about what I really want life to look like, who will be around me, where will I be, what thoughts and feelings will I have. 

And then it hit me.... my deepest desire is a family.... that's what I really want! Yes the money, the success and the rank would be nice, but heck I would trade them any day for a family to call my own! That's what gives me the purpose to push on, that's what puts everything else into perspective. 

The weird thing is this, that since realising that my desire isn't money in its own right or success at MLM or hitting the top rank, but having a family to enjoy these things with, I have been more driven to achieve them!
