Often we wonder how we can be more environmental, we have created a policy on now having to purchase biodegradable shopping bags within most of Australia.

We recycle and we offer many other services but the one thing they all have in common is cost.

To be conscious of our footprint on this earth in our day to day lives we must pay for the right's to do so, but has anyone ever wondered why we charge to be environmentally friendly and disregarding the common knowledge that we have been the creators of the damage in the first place? Why will an electricity provider charge you more to have an, énviromentally friendly product than the standard fossil fuel?

I have a few of my own reasons as to why but instead of focusing on why let's look at how you can use an environmentally friendly product for the same rate, and get paid for it!

Viridian Energy Australia has been operating successfully in the US now for 7 years and is currently still in its prelaunch stage in Australia, with associate joining fee currently at an extremely low buy-in of $99 AUD, this will increase to $399 on the 6th October 2016.

Not only do we carbon offset each customer's usage by 50% but you can also get involved with our local and Australia wide sustainability events, which could be removing invasive weed's/rubbish and tree planting.

What does this mean for the environment? well, one customer making the switch and using our power for a whole year is the equivalent of taking fifty-six cars off the road or recycling for 10 years. That's a huge reason for anyone who wants to make the conscious switch to an affordable product that they are already using, and the process is extremely simple!

You approach your potential customers with your proposition and you can either go through the process easily with them at the time of the conversation or you can simply send them the link to do it themselves.
