Learn your Facebook

I would place a bet that most of us use the biggest advertising platform in the world to promote both ourselves and our businesses. Yet I speak to many people who don't make full use of all the powerful tools and features that Facebook - and companies who provide apps for Facebook - have to offer.

For instance, did you know there's a 'secret' inbox which few people ever look at. It's called 'message requests' and it's designed to filter out messages from people who aren't your friends and messages that Facebook considers to be spam. Some people open this box by accident (you'll find it in your messages drop down next to the inbox) and discover dozens of messages that they've never seen. This can be quite annoying, even more so when you realise that many messages you have sent to people you don't know have probably never been read.
