As entrepreneurs and network marketers our two main tasks is to recruit and sell. When it comes to the selling aspect, it may be a little easier because it is a simple transaction. Recruiting on the other hands is more difficult because the truth is that many people aren’t interested in running a business or rather have no idea if they can be successful in it. Well at least depending on the approach. This means that they way you are selling the business can make a key difference on who joins. Yes, it is a numbers game however by doing this one key tactic can increase your chances of having someone join which is how it benefits THEM.



The right approach

Shocking I know but it is true that showing how it benefits a prospect can make life easier for both parties. This can be done several ways but the first thing to start with is asking the right question which include:

Where do you see yourself in the next ten years?

How much money would you like to be making?

What are your personal goals you want to achieve?

How do expect to obtain those goals?

What are your hobbies?

Digging Deeper

These are some examples if what you could be asking prospects. Starting with the first question when it comes to seeing where they want to be in the next ten years. This is important because you want to have an idea if they would actually be committed to running a business. They could want to stick ot their primary job and work on this as a hobby or start a family. Whatever the answer is tie it into how your opportunity can benefit them for as with mlm this can be done part or full time whichever is convenient to the person.

What matters to them

Another example would be for the question about personal goals. Your potential prospect could say they want to get a house soon and is looking for a way to save some serious money. Maybe they are planning to get married and need a way to help with expense. When finding out these reasons you could say how your opportunity can help with those type of goals.

The most important question to ask is about hobbies. Now this looks more like a dating question to some of you well actually It is but business is kind of like dating because you want to find a prospect interested in running the business, right? Think about it, the worse thing to do is to approach someone who is not interested not because of not wanting to run a business but not into the actually product. Counter to that it is important to have a targeted audience to increase your chances of signing up someone. Going back to the question if you are in the health and wellness industry in which the person you approach is interested in losing weight chances are they would be interested in what you have to offer. It is all about the approach and who you find.

To wrap it all up

To make things clear the approach is to dig deeper and listen for key words that can be use when doing a presentation. Everyone is different so the trick is adapt to their personality and g from there. Everyone has different goals therefore by using them into the presentation to show how your opportunity can help them can make your downline grow a lot faster.
