Let me tell you how it works with Avon. The pay with Avon is strictly commission and you are responsible for finding you own customers. I’m sure that you realize that on commission that if you don’t sell anything you don’t make anything. The commission ranges between 20% and 50% based on how much you sell in a two week campaign. Just to give you an example if you sold $300 worth you would make $105 because that would put you at 35% profit. So what we do is we take the brochures around for two weeks, we collect orders and payments in full then we tell Avon what we need to fill the orders and submit our payment. After we receive the products we have a week to deliver before our next orders are due. With the $300 example you would submit a payment of $195 and you would keep your commission of $105 profit. You aren’t waiting for Avon to cut you a check because we only submit the wholesale cost of the product not the retail brochures price. Avon provides us with a detailed invoice that itemizes each product how much it cost and how much we earn. There is business expense that we pay to have an Avon business that includes a “once campaign fee” that includes order processing, personized web site and shipping expense. As long as you submit your order on line and on time an average of less than $10 per campaign for this fee. You recoup this expense by charging $.75 order processing fee to each customer and it is pre-printed on every slip in the order pad for your convenience. Orders are shipped right to your house so you do not have to go anywhere to pick them up. All new Avon representatives are required to submit their orders online. With online ordering you immediately able to see if items are out of stock and you can track your order so you will know when to expect it at your house.
