PROJECTION IS PERCEPTION

If you're in network marketing or any sales related profession, you must understand that PROJECTION IS PERCEPTION.How are you passing your message?

Is it from a place of desperation or from a position of posture and conviction?Remember, people don't buy what you do. They buy why you do it.

What is convincing is CONVICTION.

Just few years ago, I remember how I would expose a prospect or customer to a product and/or business and they will greet it with responses like, 'Wow! But I don't have the money' or what a great investment vehicle. Give me some time to think about it.’

To think about it is a nice way of telling you they may not be interested.

If it was to be the untrained and unskilled me back then, I would have been tongue tied, clueless as to how best to answer.

NOT ANYMORE.

Last week, I sent a video presentation to a prospect after getting her permission to share.After seeing it, she responded with, "Super offer! I'll think about it"

When I hear “I’ll think about it,” I usually follow with this statement and question below.

When someone tells me they will think about a business offer, it's either one of two things. It's either they're not interested or they need more information to make an educated decision. Which one is it?

Responding in this fashion informs the prospect that you know what you're doing.

More so, you don’t have time to waste.

If the person request for you to follow up at a stipulated date, you can then log in the details of the conversation in a spread sheet and reach out on the said day and time.

As it relates to your business, you must track everything and understand the importance of setting up systems and processes.

I struggled with the common objections in this profession as stated earlier until I made a decision to learn how to handle them. I have mastered several objections handling skills and it keeps putting me over.

Remember, it is SKILLS that pays the BILLS.So when next you get an objection like the one above, respond like wise.Learn to stand your ground.This is what separates professionals from amateurs.
