The Lesson of The Ketchup Bottle

I LOVE ketchup! 

I've used it all my life and I use it on virtually every meal that I eat. 

But there's a problem . . .

Getting that last bit of ketchup out of the bottom of the bottle! 

It used to be even harder when all of the ketchup bottles were made of glass, but even now, with the plastic bottles, sometimes the ketchup just won't come out and you end up like George Costanza in an episode of "Seinfeld" . . . shaking the bottle . . . hitting the bottle . . . I've seen people even bruise the palm of their hand . . . and the ketchup still won't come out! 

These newer plastic squeeze bottles are not much better . . . that last bit of ketchup just doesn't want to come out of the bottle!

So what is the solution? 

It's really quite simple, when you think about it . . . 

All you have to do is turn the bottle upside down and let time do what your efforts could not.

It works best if you plan ahead and let the ketchup bottle sit upside down in your refrigerator overnight. All you have to do is set it up right, give time a chance to do the work for you and the results will surely follow. 

When you check on the ketchup bottle the next day you will find that the magic of time and gravity will have done its work. The elusive ketchup will have magically moved to the "top" of the bottle and you can easily use it on your next meal without getting frustrated or injuring yourself.

So why am I writing this and why would you care about my ketchup story?

Because the lesson of the ketchup bottle affirms a truth that is perhaps the #1 secret to succeeding in the MLM/Network Marketing business.

The lesson of the ketchup bottle is this: 

When a system is set up right, time does the work for you.

Simple, yet powerful, and so very true. 

Here is the most important phrase of all from my little ketchup story: 

"All you have to do is set it up right, give time a chance to do the work for you and the results will surely follow."
