Effects of Funeral Arrangements

Funeral:

A ceremony that takes place after someone dies, usually including a religious ceremony, and the formal process of taking the body to the place where it is buried or cremated.

Funeral Arrangement:

1. Cremation: Cremation, which is often more affordable and flexible than traditional Funeral Arrangement and burial options, has risen in popularity in recent years. Cremation is a method of body disposal that serves as an alternative to traditional burial in a coffin or casket. Placed in a cremation container, the remains are incinerated in an industrial furnace called a cremation chamber and reduced to basic chemical compounds like gases, ashes and mineral fragments, which are called cremains. Cremains pose no health risk and are generally returned to the deceased’s family who will either keep them in an urn or another special container or enter them at a memorial site or crematory.

2.Traditional Funeral: The traditional funeral, usually includes a viewing or visitation and formal funeral service, use of a hearse to transport the body to the funeral site and cemetery, and burial, entombment, or cremation of the remains. It is generally the most expensive type of service. In addition to the funeral home's basic services fee, costs often include embalming and dressing the body; rental of the funeral home for the viewing or service; and use of vehicles to transport the family if they don't use their own and also the costs of a casket, cemetery plot or crypt and other funeral goods and services.

3.Burial: The body is buried shortly after death, usually in a simple container. No viewing or visitation is involved. A memorial service may be held at the graveside or later. Direct burial usually costs less than the "traditional" full-service funeral. Costs include the funeral home's basic services fee, as well as transportation and care of the body, the purchase of a casket or burial container and a cemetery plot or crypt. If the family chooses to be at the cemetery for the burial, the funeral home often charges an additional fee for a graveside service.

Funeral Products:

These are some products sold by funeral service providers,

  • Infant caskets
  • Caskets
  • Outer Burial containers
  • Urns
  • Cremation Jewellery and
  • Head panels

The Funeral service workers help to determine the locations, dates, and times of visitations, funerals or memorial services, burials, and cremations. They handle other details as well, such as helping the family decide whether the body should be buried, entombed, or cremated. Funeral Service provides a supportive space for family and friends to offer condolences, say goodbye, grieve together, and share memories with one another.
