8 Killer MLM Success Tips
Today, I want to share 8 killer MLM Success Tips. These are lessons that I recently shared with people in my own team, but I thought it would help anyone from any network marketing company. The success tips are listed in no particular order. Enjoy.
Tip # 1: Don’t Chase Shiny Objects
Over the past few months, we've had several team members quit. Nothing wrong with that. To each their own. The problem with this is that many of these same people have already been in 2-3 new deals since then.
You don't succeed doing that. You have to pick a business you like, put in the work, and stick it out. Jumping around is a lottery mentality and will not lead to success in anything.
Tip # 2: Lead with the Business
I will tell you something my mentor told me, and he has a team of almost 2 million reps. Only a small percentage of the population really cares about their health, and takes supplements, yet almost EVERYONE you talk to would be interested in making more money.
By leading with the business, you can show people how to make more money so they can have more time and more money, and by default they will order the products and enjoy them. That's why I lead with the business.
Of course, there's nothing wrong with leading with the products either. I just think you have a MUCH bigger pool of prospects by leading with the business.
Tip # 3: Do What Works for You
- If connecting with people on Facebook is your strong point, do that.
- If making videos in your strong point, do that.
- If writing is your strong point, write articles.
- If SEO is your strong point, do that.
- If recruiting friends and family is your strong point, do that.
- If talking to strangers is your strong point, do that.
- If sending postcards is your strong point, do that.
- If cold calling is your strong point, do that.
- If paid advertising is your strong point do that.
If you don't know WHAT your strong point is, take an hour or two and write down everything you are naturally good at and find SOMETHING you can do to get leads.
Just find SOMETHING that aligns with your personality and skills and allows you to meet new prospects. Just do something and do it often!
Tip # 4: How to Spend Your Time
- Run with the runners.
- Walk with the walkers.
- Crawl with the crawlers.
Everyone has a role and everyone is important. Never ever pressure people to do more with the business than they want to.
Tip # 5: Treat Everyone Well
About 1 in 50 who join your team get really serious about it. Your key to success is how you interact with the other 49.
Your goal is to love on everyone, meet people where they are at, encourage people, speak belief into people, and be GRATEFUL, even if all someone does is order the products from time to time. This business boils down to a lot of people each doing a little bit.
Tip # 6: Everything You Do Matters
It's not one thing you will do that will make you successful in your opportunity. Instead, it's a combination of ALL the things you do, how you do them, and how often you do them that will determine your success in the business.
Tip # 7: One Hour Per Day
Spend just one hour per day sharing your products and business with others. Do that consistently and your business will grow leaps and bounds. All other activities are time wasters. If you will spend 8-12 hours per day in a job, why wouldn't you spend 1 hour per day working a business that can potentially replace your job income?
Tip # 8: Commitment
Your level of commitment is dictated by the number of people you contact each day about the products or business, not the number of hours you work your business each day.
Non-serious people should contact 2-5 people daily, part-timers should contact 10-20 people daily, and serious people should connect with 30-50 people daily. This includes personal prospects and helping your team connect with their prospects.
How do you find these prospects? See tip # 3 mentioned above.
