Have you ever thought about how many jobs are eliminated each year due to automation and robots? A few factories closed and many people said that the jobs went overseas… but did they really? Most likely, many of the jobs were automated. Most of the time it is cheaper for a robot to do things that a person can do. Think about this for a moment – how many jobs have been replaced by automation/robot? When was the last time you used the self checkout instead of a cashier who scans your groceries! Many stores are switching to self checkout, which is eliminating jobs.

This is the real reason the middle class is being eliminated. As automation and robots become mainstream the rich will get richer, the poor will get poorer and the middle class will become the working poor. Could your “9 to 5” job be eliminated within the next 10 years? Many of us have not thought about this.
