DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT

Hi, I’m glad you took the time to stop by and listen (read) what I have to say (write).

Something interesting happened to me recently. As I was browsing this wonderful network marketing website I noticed that I received a connection request. What made the request interesting was that the person made a sincere attempt to get me to join their business. The problem with this persons approach was so simple that they overlooked the mistake they made. The mistake was as obvious as the nose on your face. It’s a mistake most network marketers make. I know, it happened to me. This person was trying to sell me on the “Best opportunity on the planet,” and “Ground floor opportunity.”

Did that sound familiar to you? The light bulb should’ve turned on by now.

Here it is: People don’t like to be sold, but people love to buy. Don’t believe me?

Consider this: I bet the last time you walked into an electronic store or furniture store the first thing you did was walk straight to the salesperson and just begged them to escort you around the store until you found what you wanted. The exact opposite happened. You avoided the salesperson and even went as far as saying, “No thank you” when the salesperson asked you, “May I help you?” You probably scanned the store the moment you stepped in to see where the salespeople were positioned just to avoid them. Heck you probably went the opposite direction. 

Hang in there with me. It gets better. As soon as you found what you wanted and ready to buy, there were no salespeople around when you needed them. That probably ticked you off. You thought, “Where the heck are the salespeople?”

If you want to make a sale, if you want someone to become your business partner or join your team, here is my challenge to you. Dare to be different. Dare to be disciplined enough to find out what the needs are of the people you want to serve with your products or services. Dare to ask, “May I help you?”

You have two choices to make that can be the difference between your happiness or your stress level reaching a boiling point of explosion while on your journey to achieve whatever it is you define as success. Be different and stand out in the crowd as someone people want to be with or just be another face in the crowd. The crowd of, “The ground floor opportunity.”
