The #1 Rule With Prospecting & Recruiting In Network Marketing
Do you have trouble prospecting and recruiting online?
If so then pay attention.
Most network marketers struggle with building a thriving team, mainly because their upline teaches them the old school approach to building their business. This approach might work for some, but not for everyone. There is not a one size fits all approach to success that works for 100% of the population. You need to taylor success to each individual. Hopefully at some point in the near future the network marketing industry will accept new school marketing strategies and companies will start teaching them.
Prospecting and recruiting can sometimes be tricky. There are so many different styles and approaches taught when it comes to prospecting. Offline aka old school belly to belly prospecting. Online aka new school, the way more leveraged way to build your business.
Regardless of the approach you use and teach your team. Prospecting as a network marketer can sometimes be an interesting journey. A bumpy ride at times. If you have been in the game for more than five minutes you know what I mean.
For whatever reason when you talk to a prospect about your product or company you will get people to act in very interesting ways. When in a sales situation people won't keep their word. They won't show up when they say they will. They say they will watch the video you send them and not watch it.
Plenty of people that you talk to on social media and other places online will not keep their word with you when it comes to joining your team as I said before.
So how do you deal with the disappointment when someone doesn't sign up or they say they will sign up but don't? What do you do when a prospect says no? What do you do when a prospect says yes then changes their mind or joins someone else’s team? What do you do when a prospect doesn’t keep their word?
I just wrote a blog post tackling this issue.
