It is true you can get started for about $50 per year [Affiliate Expenses] but I have learned, if you want to build a 'Stand-Alone' website, like I am building;  it is Highly recommended that a working knowledge of Photoshop 2020, Snagit 2020, an eBook Software Program and Camtasia 2020 should be part of your personal toolkit.
