How Much Does It Cost to Become A Designer?

Once you’re enrolled it will be $19 plus shipping and that includes a Catalogue (this is released twice a year, Feb 1st and July 1st and when a new one is released it ships to you free)

There is also an OPTIONAL kit for $129. I highly recommend the $19 kit to start and then using your 40% discount to put together an order of your choice...The size of that order is totally dependent on what you are planning to do. Then starting the next month there will be a $19.00 a month fee every month .This includes your branded Chalk Site (your e-commerce site and "home page" for business), your Designer Office (your ordering, Team management, and reporting service, as well as access to the Designer Services support team) and the monthly B-sized "Club Couture" Transfer shipped free each month to your home with a retail value of $19.99!

2) Do I Get A Discount on My Own Personal Purchases?

YES! You get a 40% discount! The prices in our back office already reflect the discounted pricing. Plus…when you join, Chalk Couture provides you with a 15% off coupon to use in your first 60 days. That’s over and above your 40% discount!

3) What Are the Quarterly Minimums as A Chalk Couture Designer?

You need to sell and/or purchase only 150 personal volume per quarter which works out to CAD$201 per 3 months, this is including sales from your website! When you first join you don’t have to meet the requirement until your second quarter!

There are NO penalties if you decide this is not for you anymore and you decide to drop out.

4) What Is the Commission STRUCTURE as A Chalk Couture Designer?

Commission/Discount: Orders that you place in your back office will be at 40% off. If an order is placed on your CC (Chalk Couture) website, then you’ll receive a 25% commission, which is paid the following month on the 15th.

Designer Dollars (DD): Love these! You will earn $20 Designer Dollars in ‘product credit’ for every 200 PV that you sell/purchase in a month. This comes in your back office between the 15th and 18th the following month.

Savvy Seller Bonus: If you order over $2000 in sales you get a Savvy Seller Bonus! This means you earn a $200 CASH bonus on top of the DD that you earn. It’s actually 10% of your sales over $2000. {Ex. if you had $3000 PV, you would get a $300 CASH bonus}. WooHoo! It gets even better…if you have over $4000 in PV this bonus jumps to 20%!!!

Career Plan: Personal sales, team sales, and building a team is the foundation of your Chalk Couture business. Of course, as you invite others to join your Team, you will add greater income potential to your business and get rewarded! When you sell, you’ll be rewarded. When you build, teach and train a Team, you’ll be rewarded.

5) What Kind of Training Will You Receive as A Chalk Couture Independent Designer?

We have a great team and we are all in this together, so there is tons of support and help. We have non-branded videos that are provided to our specific team members so they can hit the ground running on social media, etc.… Yes, our upline is awesome � Chalk Couture Corporate has a whole series of training videos as well. You can find them in your Designer Office and access anytime. You’ll also receive some getting started emails from CC when you join.

I am also available to all and any of my team members via Facebook, messenger, email, our team page, phone, text, etc.… Our Facebook Team Page is full of ideas, inspiration, training, incentives, and much more. I will also add you to my upline’s team pages full of more ideas, training, event pictures, vendor setups, expo pics, etc.…You will absolutely love being a part of this company and Team Dazzling Designers!

6) What Is Designer Debut?

In addition to the core of our Comp Plan, we offer a quick start program available to new Designers only—It’s a great way to earn Designer Dollars product credit you can spend on any product you’d like to help jumpstart your business.

7) Do I Have to Do Parties?

Nope! Your business is run how YOU want to run it! It's 100% up to you how to want to work it. Vendor events are really great and the products demonstrate SO well at events!

� Can I Earn Extra Incentives?

Yes! The first way is with the Designer Debut (see above). There is an opportunity for you to win Incentive Trips, Designer Dollars (product credit) each month, plus those on my team get to go after monthly incentives that I and my upline offer �

9)I’m Not Interested In Selling…Am I Still Able To Join?

Yes, we love DIY’ers! You can join and get a fab discount on all your purchases! Just remember, there is a monthly fee that we pay for your Chalk Site, monthly transfer, and website. To remain active, you just have to meet the low quarterly minimum of 150 Personal Volume.

10) Am I Able to Resell the Items I Make Using Chalk Couture Products?

Yes, you can. Some people work their entire biz this way. They purchase transfers and chalk paste, create beautiful pieces and sell those pieces. You are also allowed to sell finished pieces/products on Etsy, etc.…as well.
