5 Home Business Myths Exposed

So what’s the deal with these MYTHS? …and why am I taking time to EXPOSE them?

Basically because YOU deserve to know the TRUTH.

As a Business Owner it’s important to know first and foremost that these myths are complete and total garbage, and that YOU CAN STAND FIRM on your decision to become a Home Business Entrepreneur, AND to GIVE THAT GIFT to others.

I’ll be covering the FIRST THREE MYTHS in this Post and the LAST TWO MYTHS in an upcoming follow up post.

Now…..Let’s get to EXPOSING!

Myth #1. This Business Doesn’t Work.

Lemme just take a hot minute here to get out my paper bag so I don’t hyperventilate at the thought of this nonsense even being written.

Truth: HOME BASED BUSINESSES ABSOLUTELY WORK AND I’VE SEEN IT HAPPEN NOT ONLY IN MY OWN LIFE, BUT I’M WATCHING IT WORK IN MY TEAM’S LIVES EVERYDAY.

Here’s the deal guys….and this thought ALWAYS KILLS ME….Some people feel that two-five years investing in a Home Based Business is a LONG time to see the financial reward of true residual wealth, but they never stop and think that 40 years at a job is a long time to stay BROKE, or nearly broke, or in massive debt.

Hey 

I’ve PERSONALLY seen the hardest working people I know cap out at six figures and stay stuck there for the rest of their lives. Not only that, but they are trading MASSIVE TIME for that income, rarely see their family, and most of the time don’t enjoy what they do.

SOMETIMES (and we’ve personally experienced this as well) you work your friggin tail feathers off in corporate America, or your spouse does, and not only do you not get a raise, but your pay is cut. Just.Like.That. This is happening every day…even to people in commission sales positions. Territories are cut. NO explanation.

People gripe and complain about it, but no one ever says their J.O.B doesn’t work. WHY? Because in my opinion most of the time Corporate America is an illusion. I know that for me personally in years past my salary was the bribe they gave me to forget my dreams. I was given a full salary upfront, but the long term ability for me to rise above a 2% raise every year was NON-EXISTENT.

Do you have to actually work….yes!…but for someone to say it doesn’t work because they showed up 5 times for TWO MONTHS and aren’t bringing in a six figure residual income is complete bogus stinky garbage talk. (Yes, “bogus stinky garbage talk” is a real phrase friends).

So what is the TRUTH?. It’s as simple as this. It is what you make it. If you want to bring in $500/month, you CAN. If you want to bring in $1,000/month, you CAN. After that YOU decide how much…there’s NO CAP.

I’ve been in this business for two years this month. In 2017 the Lord helped me triple the income I made in 2016. Am I where I wanna be? No. But that doesn’t mean it doesn’t work. It means that the possibility for me to triple what I made in 2017 exists as well. Plus, the perks of being able to do this with my kids while at home and make my own schedule means that every day I get to rise up and be grateful that I said YES….to a business that WORKS.

NOT TO MENTION THAT FOR ME PERSONALLY THIS IS ALL IN ADDITION TO GETTING TO HELP OTHERS TAKE THEIR HEALTH BACK!!

SO REWARDING!

Myth #2. This Business Requires To Much of a Monetary Investment.

TRUTH: This is gonna be short. The Business I’m personally in cost me less than our family going out to dinner ONE NIGHT. I have no quotas, no minimums, and I don’t stock product. Every promotion I earn is permanent. So yep, this one gets me since people pour THOUSANDS of dollars into Brick and Mortar Business ventures every day and never see a ROI. I had NO risk either! Even for Home Based Businesses with more of an initial investment than I made is NOTHING compared to traditional Entrepreneurship.

Myth #3. This Business Takes To Much Time.

TRUTH: I AM A BUSY WIFE AND MAMA! Aren’t we ALL busy? Are any of us NOT busy? I have four precious kids and I build my business into stolen moments of time around what our family already does! That’s the beauty of this business!

Not only that, but as a family for various reasons we have chosen to homeschool. So most of the time my kids are right there with me. I also teach a Bible Study at my home weekly and have the normal responsibilities of life on my plate like everyone else. I’m here to tell you, this business doesn’t have to take up your entire day!

For a SEASON you may put time and effort into it, but they don’t call it the 4 year career for nothing! What time you put into your amazing business now will pay off later…..in ways you can’t even imagine! I truly hope this encourages your heart!
