Just over two years ago I was a struggling single Mum relying on a Disability Support Pension as I have a C5 Spinal Cord Injury & I was struggling with depression & chronic fatigue. As much as I loved being a Mum, I felt like I’d lost my identity, my vision & my purpose other than just being an exhausted Mum. I was an athlete competing at an international level prior to having my daughter so when I became a Mum my life before motherhood just stopped.
