CONNECTED DAY

Nowadays, with the Age of Technology at its peak, we have all become witnesses to its evolution, and we wonder how far its evolution will go.

Indeed, among these developments we are witnessing the emergence of intelligent objects capable of doing several things, the smartphone, the connected tablet, the computer, connected watches, connected televisions. All of its technologies are essential for growth and learning for everyone, children, adults and the elderly.

However, it is worth pointing out that these extraordinary inventions have limits and two sides, positive and negative use. In a positive way, its use consists in providing, developing or innovating solutions likely to facilitate the daily lives of users. But, in a negative way, it leads to hacking, cybercrime and other vices which upset mores and customs. The most dangerous thing is that among these different layers of users, children who have no knowledge of these dangers are the most exposed.

What will we do when our child asks us and asks us questions about sexuality? on crime? on information that his age does not allow him to access? What will we do when our child says words, expressions, or makes inappropriate comments? or often annoying?

This is all explained by what he sees or hears and these often come from what he has interacted with at least once. And, among these are often smart objects because it is good to point out that anyone using digital technology is exposed to large amounts of information in the form of images, sounds and videos which are often very harmful and the most recurring are pornographic images and videos.

With no monitoring and follow-up being carried out, our children find themselves in a hostile world whose innocence risks being tainted at any time.

This is why in view of this permanent danger that an initiative has been taken to remedy it and the name given to it is the JCO.

The JCO (CONNECTED DAY) is a day dedicated to the promotion and training of the use of connected objects and the Internet, with the aim of avoiding the dangers involved and benefiting from the advantages , whose main targets are children.
