Travel Agent

The Vacation Travel Specialist will be responsible for assisting in planning of all client’s vacation travel needs. We are looking for professional individuals who are well-organized and detailed oriented.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are excited to announce the opening for a Vacation Travel Specialist within our team! Applicants should love traveling, and assisting with ensuring others have an exceptional experience on their trip/vacation. This position requires researching, planning, and ensure clients travel needs are handled from start to finish flawlessly. We are looking for applicants who can maintain a professional appearance when speaking with clients, and have outstanding communication skills. Travel Specialist's are in sales, but are selling one of the easiest products, travel.

As a Vacation Travel Specialist with our team you will have access to countless vendors and suppliers, with all of the tools need to prepare an amazing once in a life trips for clients. Whether working with our corporate partners for a business meeting travel needs, or leisure clients planning that next vacation, you will have the confident to be able to assist in their booking needs!

Roles & Responsibilities:

Prepare, present, and ensure travel itineraries meet and exceed client expectations

Research travel destinations, and offer a variety of destination choices to clients

Complete required training, including ongoing training opportunities

Book travel for clients (including, but not limited to airfare, hotel accommodations, car rental, cruises, and event/ticket sales)

Stay current on trends within the industry, to ensure you are providing clients with the most up to date information

Answer phone calls, return voicemails, respond to emails, create excel/word documents

Attend live ongoing training sessions

Maintain appropriate documentation of clients travel forms

Assist clients as needed with re-booking, rescheduling trips

Stay engaged within team meetings

Handle all travel needs for clients

Follow up with clients pre and post travel

Provide amazing award-winning service to clients

Respond to clients request promptly

Provide travel material to clients, such as guides, maps, and program information

Requirements

Must be able at least 18 years of age, and self-motivated

Must have access to a phone/laptop with reliable internet connection

Must be great communicating via email or phone calls with clients

Must have an outstanding personality, and absolutely love to travel

Must be a team player, willing to help out, and wanting to become a leader within the team

Daily communication with team members.

Research all aspects of the destination needs.

Prepare and present vacation itineraries.

Make reservations for car rentals, flights, hotels, etc.

Respond to all inquiries promptly.

Document clients needs properly to ensure request and needs are met.

Follow up with all clients with any and all additional needs.

Attend all corporate meetings (currently remotely due to COVID)

REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a phone (laptop also preferred, but not required)

Must have good internet connection.

Must be able to handle working under pressure and meet deadlines consistently.

Ability to plan and manage client’s needs with little to no supervision.
