Found My Calling

I TRULY BELIEVE we experience certain things in our lives so that we will be equipped to share those experiences, and the knowledge we gained during that time with other people going through similar trials.

When I was 25, my mom passed away from breast cancer.  I knew many of her symptoms leading up to her diagnosis and death were directly connected to the foods she chose to eat.  She suffered from immense acid reflux, heartburn etc. due to a diet that consisted largely of diet sodas, candy bars, microwave popcorn and the like.  I didn't know at the time the significance those symptoms had on her having cancer.

Fast forward to 2013 when my husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer.  Immediately I recalled those underlying symptoms my mother had suffered with...and noticed he was experiencing some of them too, particularly the heartburn.

I began reading all I could on the connection between heartburn/acid reflux and cancer.  I found out that in 1931 Dr. Otto Warburg, Nobel Peace Prize Winner, made the statement that "...cancer cannot survive in an oxygenated, alkaline environment."  He also said, "Everyone that has cancer has a body pH that is too acidic."

There was the connection!!  Both my mother and my husband had had bodies that were too acid.  And I set off on a mission to learn how to create a more alkaline environment through nutrition.

That mission led me to learn of GREENS. An alkalizing nutritional supplement that supports the immune system, detoxifies, and provides 52 herbs & superfoods and 34 fruits & veggies. I ordered some and immediately started my husband on them.  After 4 years as loyal customers, we decided we needed to share these plant based products, and our message about nutrition and the role it plays in over-all health and took advantage of the business opportunity.

It is a joy to be able to work from home and meet people all over the globe that are searching and looking for the same answers I was.  It is a gift to be able to share with them plant based products that I believe in with all of my heart.
