The Simple Stupid Invitation (SSI) - the most effective way to get your prospects to attend.

This is a simple business of DUPLICATION. it's so simple that only a HUMAN can screw it up.

This business is NOT dedicated to the BRILLIANT Sales person who can sell Icicle Concession to Eskimos in January. That superstar salesperson is setting a franchise to FAIL.

The most successful Network Recruiters all have ONE thing in common. They have a SIMPLE STUPID METHOD that EVERYONE can do.

I use the SIMPLEST and STUPIDEST methods to recruit BECAUSE I want my new enrollee to SUCCEED! And I want THEIR pals and enrollees to SUCCEED as well. And the only way I can achieve that is by using the STUPIDEST and SIMPLEST methods that everyone can imitate and duplicate.

If you are too smart for the SIMPLE STUPID INVITING method then good luck to you getting your Network Marketing business growing.

The basic fact is that if your prospect got successfully recruited by your brilliant pitch and close then THEY have no other tools available but to try to emulate YOU. And YOUR brilliant salesmanship will be diluted in your downline. So you did not provide them the necessary tools to succeed.

So let us clarify what you are selling in your INVITATION. You are selling an empty seat for your zoom or online presentation. THAT’S ALL!

You are NOT selling your opportunity. You are not selling your products. That will be the job of the presenter. If you fail to appreciate this limitation on the task of inviting then you will fail to get your prospects to the presentation.

The objective of the invitation is to RAISE the prospect’s CURIOSITY ....and NEVER SATISFY it in this stage.

 Leave them wanting MORE. To get the “more” they need to be at the presentation. There is a 45 minute structured presentation by a compelling speaker, your prospect will get all the information needed to make a decision.

But if YOU try to “explain” your deal in 5 minutes, or begin to answer a question, you LOST the invitation. They have SATISFIED their curiosity, filling the blanks in their mind with their sliver of knowledge.

It's like this. You call your uncle and say “Hey uncle Joe. Are you available next Tuesday night. I am having a birthday party”. He KNOWS what a birthday party is like, His brain is filled with birthday cake, cheerful relatives, having a nice time. Right?

So now let's replace the party with your business opportunity. “ Hey, Uncle Joe. Are you available next Tuesday night? I just started a new business and you are the smartest business person I know so I wanted you to take a look at it and let me know what you think. Can you be available for a zoom call at 8 PM on Tuesday?”

So far so good. Uncle Joe: “What is it about?” You: “Oh, we have xyz products and you can make a lot of money if you…”. ZAP!! His mind fills in the blanks. It's one of those pyramid schemes he attended 20 years ago. I don’t need to know more.

You are DONE. Uncle Joe is COOKED as a prospect for at least a month.

So PLEASE .....invitations must be kept SIMPLE, STUPID and SHORT, like:

“Hi Bill, How is the Family/health/job/money? (in that order)”. Let them possibly complain about finances.

Then comes your 15-second elevator pitch, like maybe:

"Oh, I am sorry to hear that” or “I guess you are doing really well financially.” ( Uncle Joe’s Answer). You: ” So, could you use an extra $500 or $1000 bucks every month rite now. Would that help?” (Joe answer). You: “I have a very interesting situation here that I am working on. I am very excited about it. (sound excited) and I’d like you to take a look at it. I think you would like what I am doing. It's very profitable. Are you available for a zoom call this Tuesday at 8 PM?” (Always end with YOUR question).

(Joe’s question). You “That's why I want you to come to this zoom meeting. Im am kind of new, My partners can explain it a lot better than I can. Can I count on you to make it on Tue at 8?”

Every question is always answered by something like “That's why you need to be at this zoom meeting”. “The meeting is only going to be about half-hour:. (always followed immediately by your invitation question).

Alternate responses:

Question: What's it about??? Answer: “Its about making a few extra bucks. You said you cold use an extra 500 or 1000 bucks every month, right? So I’ll send you an invite to our 45 minute ZOOM meeting tonight at 8. What’s your email address? Let me confirm your address,”. Keep coming back to YOUR answer and question.

"that's a good question but I dont have the answer. That's WHY you have to come to our Zoom meeting. I am sure you'll get your answer there and if you STILL have questions, then I'll make sure you get your answers.." .

"I don't know. Lets both find out at the ZOOM meeting."

At the end of your answer, you MUST ASK YOUR QUESTION: "So, can you make it tonight at 8?"

After 3 or 4 questions just change the subject. Your prospecting uncle Joe is done for tonight.

In the invitation process, the response to EVERY question must REINFORCE their need to attend the ZOOM Meeting. They are asking questions because they are curious. Good. Your skill is to NOT SATISFY THEIR CURIOSITY. Remember: you are selling an available seat, not your program.

The invitation conversation must have a consistent tempo:

YOUR statement followed immediately by your question,

their objection or question,

 followed by YOUR answer AND Question,

 their question,

 your answer AND Question, etc.

What is your question? “Can I send you an invite?”

Why this tempo is so important. If you simply answer without YOUR question then the conversation remains on their subject of resistance. Continuation in that direction means that you are having an argument. On the other hand, when you conclude with YOUR question, then they are required to answer, and so you changed the conversation’s direction.

Once they accept, thank them and hang up .....no more chatting. You can only screw it up with more talk.

Immediately follow up with email or text confirmation of time and date. On the appointment date, perhaps a few hours before the appointment hour, text and email the zoom meeting URL with a note, like “see you there”.


Text and Call them 5 -15 min before the meeting using an assumptive voice. “Just making sure I’ll see you in a few minutes at 8. Call me if you have any problem getting on the link I sent you,” No choices.

NEVER use a weak voice like “Are we still on at 8 tonight?” The choice to this question may be either Yes or NO. We don't use 50/50 questions.

The underlying psychology of this process is very powerful. Yet it is very simple to follow. And very simple to duplicate throughout your organization. After people understand the importance of duplication, this Simple Stupid Inviting process will become a powerful tool for your organization’s growth and for everyone to succeed. It is a critically important skill that every newbee must acquire immediately.
