I know a lot of people who earn their living online and every single one is obsessed with what they are doing, like me. They work more hours on their business than they ever would at an outside job.
In fact, this saying is accurate:
"An entrepreneur is someone who will work 80 hours a week in their business to avoid working 40 hours a week for someone else."Often they don't make as much working 80 hours for themselves as they would working 40 hours at their jobs.
I am not trying to bring you down. I am trying to make sure that you have an accurate picture of the journey ahead to your goal.
Everyone's goals are different.
If you have a more modest ambition for the work you do online, then you can put less in to accomplish that goal. If you just want a little extra "pocket money", then you may be able to do that with a couple of hours a day and following the steps of a good system.However, if you want to make more than a hundred dollars a month, then be prepared to put in full time hours and full time effort, especially at the beginning.
You have a lot to learn and much will be learned "the hard way". You will go down paths that lead nowhere, and you have to double back. You will spend money on things that don't work. We all did that.Those who end up being the success stories are the ones who realize that is part of the journey. They learn from the wrong paths and mistakes and get more wise about focusing on what works. They are patient and realize that this takes time. They don't lose their patience and get distracted by shiny objects. They don't go looking for the "magic program" or "magic lead source" that will make them successful.
You are going to have to be open to learning new things. There is no shortcut to success. The level of success you realize will exactly match the level of effort you have put in and the capabilities and skills you have developed.
If you don't want to learn about marketing and the psychology of influence ... you will fail.
If you don't want to build a list and are unwilling to change ... you will fail.
If you don't want to learn what makes up a great offer and the kind of offers your list wants ... you will fail.
The faster you get past those hurdles, the faster you will get to a profitable online business.
