Different Ways to Support Your MLM Team
Today, I want to share some valuable tips with you about supporting your MLM team.
Let me start by telling you that when you recruit a leader, the only thing you really need to do is stay the heck out of their way. They will have the initiative and leadership to figure things out on their own, with or without your help. However, these leaders represent no more than one to three percent of your team.
For everyone else, you will need to give them intensive support, motivation, help and training. You will need to have a system or game-plan in place that they can follow. They will need hand holding and constant encouragement.
Here’s what I do to support my team. It’s not perfect, but I think it’s a good starting point.
Getting Started Training: I've created a team website with a getting started page. It has 12 steps all new distributors must complete. This training is designed to teach them 95% of what they need to know how to do to build a successful business. We share s, help people make their name list, and give them different lead generation strategies.
Email Newsletter: I send out a team email newsletter every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The newsletter provides tips, upcoming training reminders, recognition and more. I send this out to everyone on my team via my auto-responder.
Weekly Webinar: We do a team training webinar every Tuesday night. These meetings last one hour. We share stats, training, recognition and more. This is probably the most important thing I do to support my MLM Team.
Weekly Opportunity Call: Every Wednesday night we have an opportunity call that explains the business to people. Team members can invite their prospects to the call to learn more about the opportunity.
Facebook Group: We have a Facebook group for our team that I update daily. We do tips, training and recognition. This is a fun online community that people enjoy being part of.
YouTube Channel: We have a YouTube channel for our team that provides company specific and generic MLM training.
One-on-One Coaching: I offer one-on-one coaching to all of my personally sponsored reps, and serious people, if they want it. I can do this through Zoom, conference call or email.
Live Events: Our team does live events every 90-days. We do these at different travel destinations. They are a lot of fun and very beneficial.
Keep in mind this is just what I do. You don't have to copy what I'm doing, but I suggest you come up with some type of training and support plan if you want people to stay in the business.
The bottom line is that you need a way to support your team! Come up with something that is simple that you can use with everyone you sponsor. It does make a difference.
